"Why did you come, Taehyung?" Jungkook seems annoyed now, I can't blame him...

"I wanted to see how you were doing after yesterday." Taehyung's tone changed from a joking one to a serious and concerned one.

Jungkook frowns again, eyeing me from afar.

"I'm perfectly fine." He mutters annoyed, piling all kinds of files on his large wooden desk. Taehyung, in his smart brown costume, sits on the desk, playing with the silver pen.

"But I heard it's the third bodyguard of yours to die. Wasn't that a hard toll on you?"

Jungkook looks down and I can see that Taehyung is right.

Jungkook is still pretty shaken by the events. His eyes wonder to me, he's not glaring he almost seems worried.

"Let's not talk about that, hyung. How about we just call for coffee and sit next door?" Jungkook suggests and his annoying but handsome friend nods, turning to me.

"Hey, could you go get some coffee, Hyejin, was it?" I raise one eyebrow at him and look back in front of me, pretending not to have heard. "I'm just kidding." He whispers, walking past me towards the exit.

He briefly stops in front of me before dropping another smirk.

When the door closes, I check on Jungkook who's sitting in his chair, wearing a concerned expression.

"I don't think I should tell you that..." Jungkook sighs, his finger drawing circles on my arm while his chin rests on my shoulder. I turn my head to him, my back resting on his chest.

"It's okay, I'm not going to repeat anything, I barely know anything about you." I tell him, taking his hand in mine.

"I just...I'm so afraid these days. It's like I have this Damocles Sword hanging above my head. It's so fucking lonely too..."

I sigh and grab his shirt, which he threw on the side of my bed; I pull it on.

"What are you doing?" He looks at me with his doe eyes, and I smile his way, dropping a peck on his lips before laying on my stomach, my hands on his chest, resting my head there too.

"Listen, I can't tell you much since we agreed not to disclose personal information. But you're not alone. I'm sure a guy like you has friends. And if you ever need it, I'd be happy to be there for you." I whisper, and his arms close around me.

A heavy sigh escapes his lips as his eyes get lost in the distance while his hands gently move up and down my back under the t-shirt.
