My head snaps up to meet eyes as bewildered as mine.
"You-"
"Do you know each other?"

I pull over in front of Jungkook's mansion, get out of my car and walk to the main entrance. The guards let me in and I keep myself from eyeing them suspiciously. I don't know which one is a mole, the one Kija recognised.
I get through in my usual bodyguard outfit. Hoseok's face brightens when he sees me and I rush to him, handing him the USB device before either one of us speaks.
"I've done some crazy shit this is all the info I've collected. Could you check it out, find out who the dude is, and all?"
Hoseok seems to be lagging, staring at me in disbelief. He looks down at my hands then back at my face.
"I thought you were rest-"
"Oh, and how did that date go?" I ask cheerfully. He smiles and takes the USB device, slight blush on his cheeks.
"Really well." He whispers, only to become serious the next second, frowning, his eyes eyeing my neck.
"What kinda shit did you get yourself into to have that kind of bruises?" He asks, concern laced in his voice. I wave my hand in dismissal and laugh it off.
"It's okay. Plus, you'll see, you have the full video in there. Please do this?" I ask again and he nods, stuffing the small item in his pocket.
"I have no clue what you did to get worthy info when we've been struggling for scraps these past weeks." He seems quite bothered but I flash a bright smile.
"Because I'm that good." I joke and an unintentional laugh escapes his lips.
He shakes his head fondly and pats my arm. I swear I can read a bit of pride in his eyes as he says goodbye. We do make a good team. Whatever doubts we might've felt once or twice, it's great.
He leaves and I knock three times on Jungkook's door, waiting for him to allow me in before opening the door. I learnt my lesson last time.
"Come in." A grumpy voice replies and I push the door, a bright smile on my face. What made my day is the significant advance I've made in the case.
That's all I can think about. And I'm so excited to tell him that we're getting closer to ending this case. We still have a long way to go, but we're not with nothing. And he's going to be so relieved. He's going to be so glad!
"Jungkook, I have amazing news!!" I announce excitedly, but I'm met with a cold glance.
"What, you've officially slept with all three of us?" He deadpans and I freeze in my spot. All the excitement vanishes and my heart sinks at his words.
