"So, I was thinking we could go to your house later today for the project? My family is so big, it'd be hard to get things done." Alice lies, not ready for her family to meet the beautiful girl yet. She wanted to get to know her without the other Cullens interfering.
"Alright! Give me your number and I'll text you my address. I'll have to head there first so I can, um, straighten up a bit." Persephone was embarrassed that she was not fully unpacked yet, even though she had been living in Forks for a few days now. Boxes were scattered across her small home and she only had a couch, bed, and small dining table for furniture. She would definitely go home and make it as presentable as possible before anyone, especially the beautiful couple in front of her, came over.
Jasper felt her anxieties and found himself soothing them subconsciously. Alice felt herself calming down too and realised what her partner was doing. She wondered what he felt towards the human, but decided that she could simply ask later. For now, all their attention was on their new project partner. Alice smiled at the girl and willingly handed over her phone, careful not to let their fingers brush. She wanted to, badly, but didn't want to make the human uncomfortable with how cold her skin was. So, for Persephone's sake, she would be patient.
"There you go. I texted myself so I'd have yours, too. I hope that's okay." The girl said, handing the phone back to Alice as the two vampires heard her own vibrate in her pocket.
"Of course! Would you like Jasper's too?" Alice willingly offered, slipping her hand into her beloved's pocket to grab her phone. "I'll just transfer it from mine to his. I mean, we're all partners, right?" Alice smirked.
"Ah, yes that's alright. If it's okay with him, of course." Persephone smiled, flustered over the last sentence Alice spoke. She knew the girl meant project partners, but couldn't stop her heart from skipping a beat and her thoughts becoming filled with being with them – both of them. They were beautiful and she was a simple teenager, she could not be blamed for wanting to kiss both of them – the beautiful couple were so welcoming, so unlike the others she had met today that she grew more and more interested in them. Of course, the poor human had no idea that this was Alice's intention. She enjoyed seeing the beautiful girl get flustered because of the vampires, and couldn't stop herself from teasing. Just because she couldn't touch the girl yet, doesn't mean she can't use her words to bring a beautiful flush to those cheeks.
"We'll see you later. C'mon, Alice." Jasper said, giving Persephone a small smile and tugging gently on his and Alice's connected hands. Persephone watched fondly, yet again thinking of how endearing his accent was.

Persephone was anxious. Jasper could feel it from outside of her house. He and Alice were waiting patiently on the front doorstep for the human to open the door.
"Hi!" The door swung open to reveal the human dressed down in sweatpants and a plain shirt with fuzzy socks covering her bare feet, which Alice found both endearing and a horrible fashion statement. Jasper laughed softly at her horrified expression and smiled at Persephone.
"Hello, Persephone." Persephone's grip on the door tightened slightly at the sound of her name in his angelic voice. She felt embarrassed by her reaction, but both vampires noticed – they were paying her extra special attention – and thought it cute.
"Come on in! Ignore the mess. I, uh, moved here a couple of days ago. I didn't have much, but the boxes aren't put away in the basement yet." She explained, gesturing to the pile of flattened boxes that sat in the corner. The house almost still looked un-lived in, if not for the scent of the human's perfume crowding the space and the small mess on the kitchen counter. It was tidy, but only because there weren't many things to make a mess with.
The vampires both silently thought to themselves that they would like to stay here forever, where her perfume covered every inch of the house and her emotions were the only thing Jasper could feel besides his own.
"It's a lovely home. You live alone?" Persephone nodded to Alice's question.
"I just turned eighteen and was released from the system. I'm here to finish up high school, and then I'm going somewhere else." The vampires both disliked the idea of her leaving, but neither spoke. They just smiled politely and nodded, still somewhat happy to have learned more about the girl.
"Let's get started on the project, shall we?" Jasper spoke up, making the two girls smile at him and nod. Seeing them both there, smiling at him, and feeling both of their attraction to him – Persephone's more faint than Alice's, of course – made the vampire feel something he hadn't felt in a long time.
Maybe, he thought to himself as the three moved to the small dining table to begin working, I don't need to ask Alice what she saw that day. Maybe I already know.
