Rosalie observed Persephone from afar, glancing at Alice and Jasper who stood protectively next to the human. She sighed.

"Alice, Jaz, can't you let the poor girl sit down?" She rolled her eyes and smiled at Persephone. "Please, have a seat. You can't let them hog you all night."

She decidedly did not comment on the way Persephone looked to Jasper and Alice for permission, finding it a bit cute the way the human went to the both of them rather than one. It was only when they gave her encouraging smiles and walked with her to the couch that Persephone seemed to relax. Jasper sat with his arm on the back of the couch behind the human while Alice sat on her other side, casually throwing her legs across Persephone's lap.

"We can watch the movie here. Rose, Emmett, Edward, you all can stay. We're going to watch Beauty and the Beast." Alice said, causing the other Cullens to laugh softly under their breath.

"Who could ever love a beast, right?" Emmett said, eyes glimmering with laughter as he glanced at Persephone. Jasper shot him a look, and he sighed. "Thanks, but Rose and I were just heading to grab a bite to eat. Wanna come, Edward?"

Edward nodded, already sick of the three's thoughts. They were each thinking of each other in an adorable, yet sickening way. Jasper was, and always had been, a romantic at heart. Now, thanks to Persephone being the object of his affections along with Alice, it was doubled. Not to mention Alice's mental rant about how soft the girl's hand was, and how she wished to feel how soft her skin was elsewhere. Add in Persephone's fondness for the two vampires and, especially, Jasper's accent – Edward was throughly disgusted.

"Please." He responded, giving Alice a look that clearly said please keep your thoughts PG while I'm in the room.

"Ah, Esme and I are having a night out as well. We'll leave you three to it." Carlisle speaks up from the living room entrance, smiling at the three on the couch as he placed a coat on his wife's shoulders. "Have fun."

They all slowly shuffled out the door after greeting and speaking shortly with Persephone, and the three were left alone. Jasper, in an attempt to keep his thoughts from straying to the fact that they had the house to themselves, got up and put on the movie. Alice's emotions were not helping him, and Persephone noticed his tenseness. She hesitantly used her free hand – Alice had already claimed the one nearest to her – to grab one of his. She smiled at him when he glanced at her, and he relaxed. He placed his arm back on the couch behind her and watched as she got lost in the movie.

Persephone was asleep on Jasper's shoulder. He had been playing with her hair during the movie and she, like an adorable kitten, had leaned into the touch and ended up falling asleep due to the pleasure of him doing so. Alice petted her cheek fondly and smiled at Jasper.

"She's perfect." She said quietly. He nodded in agreement, eyes wandering over her face and taking in every detail. He noted every freckle's placement and every scar, wanting to memorise her features.

"She is." He whispered back, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear as Alice continued to stroke the human's cheek.

"I want to tell her, Jaz." He glanced up at Alice, seeing the small frown on her beautiful face. He reached for her and squeezed her hand, using his gift to soothe her. "I want her to be with us, and to know what we are. I know she'll accept us, I can see it."

"I know, darlin'. We'll talk about it with everyone soon." He kissed the back of her hand and pulled Persephone closer, Alice naturally leaning against the human's other side so that they were all curled together. Persephone cuddled into them even more in her sleep, and the two let out matching sighs of content.
