Erin got into her car and hit the road at high speed. When she arrived at Kith's house, she immediately got out of her seat and headed straight to the front door. Inside, she found him coming out of the kitchen door.
“Hey” he greeted, then he noticed the look on her face.
Before he got the chance to ask what could have happened to her, she raised her hand and threw something at him aggressively. He was shocked.
“Just high school friends? Really, Kith?” she asked, seething with anger.
He looked at the photos on the floor and recognized them.
“Why? ...Is it because her body is better than mine? ...I trusted you!” she thundered, crying.
“Erin, please calm down. Let me explain. It’s not what you think.” he said, reaching for her hand.
“Don't touch me!" she yelled. "After you kissed her, what else did you do, huh? Did you also take her to your room and had sex with her?” she asked, seething with anger.
“No! (breathed heavily)Those photos are not what they seem to be. Something happened to her and she asked for my help. I invited her here because she was hurt.” he explained hysterically.
“If that’s true, then why didn't you tell me? Those freaking photos were taken yesterday. I called you. I called you, but you said nothing! I thought we promised we would be honest to each other." she burst out, then she calmed down. "You’re no different from other men who say they are honest, but the truth is you’re all bunch of liars!” she yelled.
“Erin, that’s not true. I never lied to you. Nothing happened to me and Hannah. Believe me, I just helped her.” he insisted, then he tried to get her hand again.
“Don’t touch me! Don’t you ever touch me again!” she yelled, then she ran back to her car.
“Erin, wait!” he called. He grabbed her hand, but she shook it off. “Please, stop!” he pleaded, but she ignored him.
She got into her car and drove off. When she got back to her apartment room, she locked the door, then she went to her bed and cowered on the floor. There, she cried her heart out. It was the first time she felt that kind of pain, and it was very awful. It was as if her heart was being torn to pieces.
Before nightfall, Kith went to her apartment and knocked on her door. “Erin? ...Erin, please open the door. Let's talk.” he begged.
“Erin, please... I swear to God I didn't cheat on you.” he pleaded.
“Erin, come out. I’m begging you.” he called, pressing his forehead against the door.
