Kith was walking home when someone grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to a narrow alley. He tried to escape, but another two men showed up and seized him forcibly.
Behind the dumpsters, they pushed him to the pavement among the trash. When he looked at them, they were wearing black face masks and baseball caps. Then, without warning, they began to kick him.

While Anna was standing in line waiting to buy a popular doughnut ice cream sandwich, she spotted Erin's cousin with his friends. They were chatting and guffawing really loud.
Ethan was fidgeting something in his hands, then he put it on his face.
When the line moved, Anna took a step forward. After she checked her distance, she looked back at Ethan and his friends, but they were gone.

She was smiling as she was reading the comments. Then, her phone rang. When she grabbed it, she saw it was Joseph calling her. She answered it.
Him: "Hey"
Her: "Hi"
Him: "I wrote two songs for you. Can I show them to you tomorrowat school?"
Her: "Sure. Maybe at lunch break? I'm with my friends at our usual table."
Him: "Got it. I'll see you there."
Her: "Okay"
After the call, Erin went back to her laptop and read more flattering comments.
