So far, nothing bad had happened in the past three days.

On Saturday, Kith sneaked to the bank to get his money while his dad was busy repairing his car. When he got it, he went to a shop and bought something. After that, he walked to the park and called Erin on his phone.

Erin: "Hey"

Kith: "Hi, um... Are you busy right now?"

Erin: "No, I'm not."

Kith: "I'm here in Giant Springs State Park, at the monument. Can you come here?"

Erin: "Yeah, sure"

Kith: "Okay, I'll wait for you."

Erin: "All right, give me fifteen minutes." (rushing)

After the call, Kith waited. In less than fifteen minutes, she came.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked in a worried tone.

"Yes, I'm fine." he answered.

"What are you doing here?" she asked curiously.

He smiled. "Come on" He took her hand and invited her to walk.

She was confused, but she let him do whatever he was planning to do at that time. As he was leading the way, she noticed they were heading to the dessert shop they'd been to before. There, he bought two ice cream sandwiches and gave her the other one.

She did not know why he was doing that for, but she didn't bother to ask for the reason because she was having fun with him. When they sat on the seatwall, she stretched her legs on the long seat and leaned her back against his front body.

He put his one hand around her waist and leaned his back against the concrete upright behind him.

"You must be wondering why I suddenly asked you to come here." he told her.

"Yeah, but if this is a date, you don't have to worry about whatever I left for just to rush here." she replied, then she took a bite of her sandwich.

He chuckled. "This is where I told you you're like a bird. Do you still remember that?" he asked.

"Yeah" she answered, smiling.

When he's done with his sandwich, he lifted his right hand and showed her his closed fist. Then, he slightly opened his fingers and dropped something.

She saw it was a gold necklace with a bird pendant dangling below his hand.

He gently brushed her hair away and put it around her neck. Once locked, she held it and looked at him. She did not know how she would react. There were so many things happening inside of her.
