September 7th.
It has been pretty nice at this new school. I started noticing during my second day of school the boys have gotten a lot less shy and quite frankly it was starting to piss me off. It wasn't that most of them were flirty or mean they just didn't know how to interact with girls, it was kinda cute in its own way.

Now what pissed me off were the ones who ‘thought’ they were experts on women…. That was a whole other story but I made some friends already and they aren't horrible. There's a boy named Link who is a sweet innocent cinnamon roll who I will protect at all cost. So as i said before not all of them are bad and I learned this on my second day when I met Link:

“Oh my god I am so sorry.” A boy said as he bumped into me and his and I’s books dropped as we were both trying to get to our lockers before lunch. “It's fine, don't worry about it.” I say as I kneel down to pick up my stuff. “You’re-” The boy stared at me while his face turned red. “I'm Atom.” I smile and hand him the rest of his books.

“AAYYYEEE OUR SIDE KICK.” Alex screeched inside my head. “Alex I'd fight with you but you're usually right about stuff like this..” I tell the voice in my head. “Thank you, I’m Link.” The boy said. We stood up and I noticed he was the same height as me.

“You're as tall as I am.” Link gasped, his blue eyes lighting up as his dreads fell in front of his face. He had freckles scattered across his face that complimented his chocolate brown skin. “You should see some of the kids from my last school.” I giggled referencing the height of my d class mates and put my hair behind my shoulders.

“Atom, stop taking off like that.” Lawrence said as he caught up to me. “Oh hey Link.” Lawrence said as he noticed the recently acquainted boy. “Hey Lawrance.” Link said shyly, looking down at his feet. “How's your older brother?” Lawrence asked him.

“You saw that too, right Atom? Please say you noticed that look!” Alex said eagerly. “He's doing good.” Link said with a smile. “That's good. Tell him I said Hi. I don't have any classes with him.” Lawrence smiled. “AWWW HE HAS A CRUSH ON LINKS OLDER BROTHER!” Alex and I both nearly died.

“I will.” Link nodded. “Ok Atom come on I don't want Kai or Diego to kill me.” Lawrance pulled me along. “Nice meeting you.” I turned to Link. “Nice meeting you.” He smiled at me.

I walked into the cafeteria and ran over to my carbon copies. “KAAAIIIIIIII.” I say dramatically as I fall on him. “ATTTOOOOMMM.” Kai says doing the exact same thing to me, causing us both to fall to the ground.

“Ya and you're the smart ones…” Diego rolled his eyes. “Technically you're older, which according to adult logic for five years olds that would mean you're more mature and far more intelligent.” Kai and I say in union.

"I hate you two." Diego shook his head. "Ya ya I love you too." I say as I get up from off the floor then get my food. I look over and see Link and smirk.

"I don't like that smile… That's a dangerous smile." Diego says wearily. "Ima be right back. I've aquanteced a sidekick for at school." I say then walk towards Links table, Kai and Diego following behind me.

"Hey Link." I smile as I put my hands on his table. "Oh hey Atom." Link smiled at me. His friends looked between the two of us in awe. "How's your day been?" I asked as I sat down. "Pretty good! What about you?" He asked brightly.

"I'm doing good." I smile and lean my head on the palm of my hand. "Um I have a question if that's ok." One of Link's friends asked. "Ask away." I smile sweetly.

"Bro our face is gonna hurt after this." Alex complained. "You seemed pretty comfortable with Kai and Diego, what's your relationship with them?" The boy asked, signalling to the boys behind me. "Oh, we're just friends. I've known them since I was born." I shrug as I run my fingers through my hair.

"Well I'll see you next hour, Link." I smile and then get up to find something else to entertain me. After the bell rang after about thirty more minutes of mindless wandering with my triplets.

Then we have situations like we're having here in the present day: I was listening to the teacher explaining something and then I heard a growl from behind me.

"Damn, boy what are you a dog? Woof woof want a biscuit?" I turn back at him then roll my eyes. "What did you just say to me?" Jacob gritted his teeth. "Oh dear Lucifer.. Author, why'd you have to put me in this? Like seriously what shitty book is this?!" I asked and rubbed my temples trying to soothe my headache.

"You do realize he's one of the most popular kids." Link whispered to me. "No seriously where the fuck am I." I put my head in my hands and try not to rip out my hair.

"What?" Link asked me. "I'm just curious what kind of shitty movie I'm in?" I sighed. "Cause I know it sure ass hell any one of them stupid ass emines to lovers clechie movies.. Nah, those main characters are usually white." I shake my head. "You're not wrong." Link furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and realization.

"Hey sorry I'm late." I hear a familiar voice say as the door opens. I looked up and saw a miracle… Miggy. "It's ok. Give me your pass and sit down by Atom." The teacher told him.

Miggy saw me and smirked as he walked towards me and sat in the seat directly behind me. "Oh my god you're a lifesaver." I whispered to Miggy as he sat down. "I'm literally your bodyguard." Miggy chuckled.

"And also Marco set it up that we have all our classes together." Miggy said, taking out a notebook. "Have fun in my AP classes." I laughed then faced the teacher again. “I'll be handing out the tests that you guys took a couple days ago and the highest score was a one hundred and ten lowest was a twenty eight and Miggy I'll have you take it in a couple days unless you want to take it now.” The teacher said as he grabbed the papers.

“Ok i'll take it in a few days.” Miggy yawned as he stretched his arms up. “How did someone get a hundred and ten?” A boy asked. “Because I was so impressed by one of you, you obtained extra credit.”

The teacher handed back my paper and I saw an A+ on it. “Your essay gave you extra points and the drawings were really cool too.” The teacher smiled at me. “Thank you.” I smiled back. “What'd you get?” Miggy asked me. “Geuss.” I smirked and held up my paper. “Ya know that really doesn't surprise me..” Miggy laughed.

"How did you get a better score than me?!" Jacob yelled. "Ok one back off or ima get my brothers or just beat the shit out of you myself… I mean I have my bodyguard in all my classes now so I could very well just use him because I'm not in the mood for this bullshit.” I glare at him.

"And two It's called studying. I'm actually taking my grades seriously in highschool so maybe you should do the same and not hyper fixate on me but maybe on your grades cause I sure as hell won't be focusing on you.” I said then ran my hands through my hair.

“Be the bigger person.” Miggy whispered to me and held my hand. “It's kinda hard to do that when I'm five foot three.” I whisper back and giggle. “You know what I mean.” Miggy rolls his eyes. “Are you two dating?” Link whispers eagerly to Miggy and I. “No, he's just my body guard for now.” I laugh at his eagerness.

“Ya my job is super easy considering now you basically do my job for me.” Miggy rolls his eyes. “I just learned how to throw down with the mafia, don't get mad at me for preparing myself to run one of the most powerful mafias in L.A..” I whisper to Miggy making sure he's the only one who could hear me.

“Yet you're being targeted by one of Japan's most powerful gangs who has control over multiple gangs in America.” Miggy said to me, being as quiet as I was. “Exactly.” I whisper. “Now I'm gonna do something else. We can discuss this later at Nonnos.” I smile at him.

The day passed slowly and I wanted to kill myself more than usual by the end of it. “Dad and Daichi are picking us up and I'm not sure what the plan is for the others.” Hiro said to me as we walked out of the school. “Dad said I can take Kai and Diego with me to Nonno’s so you guys have fun.” I say as I walk to the sidewalk and see the signature black Rolls-Royce Phantom and Nonno leaning against it.

“Ya know personally I think the wrath looks more aesthetically pleasing.” I say walking up to Marco. “Yes but I like the Phantom more.” Marco says, patting my head. “Fair enough.” I say as Kai, Diego and I get into the back seats and Miggy and Marco in the front.
