Chapter Forty One: Double Agent.

Third Person POV

“I can also give and take away people's energy whether it's positive or negative.” Lilly says, taking another bite of ice cream. Lilly and Atom went to Marcos for a while then they decided to go to Toshis so she could stay the night considering she hung out with Atoms brothers and their friends quite often outside of school.

“Wait, so does taking people's negative energy cause you to have less energy?” Diego asked before he took another bite of ice cream. “I mean ya I kinda have this metaphorical door that I can open and shut and sometimes lock but sometimes if im giving positive energy while also taking a person's negative energy it can drain me and then if I forget to close that door or in other words I fall asleep while doing that I can get so mentally drained it can last for weeks and even have physical side effects.” Lilly says casually as she continues trying to explain the strange powers she withholds.

“Cool.” Kai said as he swayed his feet behind him as he laid on the floor. "Why are you four on the kitchen floor eating ice cream and listening to music?" Hiro asked as he suddenly came into the kitchen. “Sad boi hours.” Kai replied.

“How much longer will this take?” Hiro sighed as he opened the fridge, grabbing an energy drink. “Eleven minutes and thirty six, thirty five, thirty four, thirty three seconds.” Deigo said as he watched the timer.

"Why that specific?" Hiro rolled his eyes. “It's called time management.” Lilly said before she shoved another scoop of ice cream in her mouth. “Ya we have stuff to do.” Atom says as she changes the song. “Ya we have things to do and places to be.” Lilly said as she wrote something down in a notebook.

“Oh please, you have all the time in the world.” Hiro rolls his eyes. “You might but we have work.” Atom says as she lays on the ground. “Ya check yo privilege Jessica.” Lilly said, taking another bite of the neapolitan ice cream. “Whatever.” Hiro sighed at Lilly. 

“And stop calling me Jessica.” Hiro yelled defensively. “Hey Jessica Richards is hot as fuck.” Kai pointed out. “Ya… But not as hot as Stacy's mom.” Lilly looked at Kai with a mischievous smirk. 

“Bro Stacy's mom has got it going on.” Diego gave the other two a mischievous smile. “Ya Hiro have you seen cause like Stacy's mom has got it going on.” Atom said to her brother casually.

“I hate you all.” Hiro groaned as he shut the fridge. “Ya know Hiro.” Lilly smirked. “Oh dear god.” Hiro mumbled under his breath. “What?” He asked the girl. “Ya know stacys mom might have it going on but wanna know who I wish I had?” Lilly said casually.

“Who?” Hiro asked, taking a deep breath as he ran his hands through his hair. “I wish that I had Jesse's girl.” Lilly nodded. “Lills..” Hiro sighed. “Sì amore?” Lilly purred seductively causing hiro to stop all thoughts and just freeze. (Translation from Italian: Yes love?) “I hate you so fucking much.” Hiro said with a look of disappointment while the four fourteen-year-olds burst into a fit of laughter as he walked away.

While the four children were bonding there was something going on that nobody could expect.

“Thank you all, we will see you next sunday.” The priest said as he closed his bible and walked out of the large room after he concluded his prayer. “Oh my It's been forever since i last saw you three.” A middle aged man said as he greeted the couple and their daughter who was sitting behind him.

“We should go out for lunch later!” The wife recommended as she clapped her hands together. “That would be amazing if we could go to this cute lunch-in that opened up about five years ago.” The man said cheerfully. “That would be great.” the husband said.

“Are you guys free right now? I have nothing to do today.” The man asked curiously. “Right now works great, we'll follow you there.” The wife said cheerfully. “Lovely I'll see you there.” The man said as he grabbed his.

The couple and their daughter quickly left trying to go undetected. “So why him?” The daughter asked as they started following the other car. “Because he knows about Atom, Lio.” Her mother said to her aggressively. 

“Yui calm down.” Her husband told her as he grabbed her hand and kissed the back of it. “Sorry Kanjiharu.” Yui sighed and took a deep breath. “I'm just concerned about how powerful she’ll become.” Yui said worriedly. “If she's anything like her mother we’re screwed.” She added as she clutched her husband's hand harder.

“It took fourteen years before Emila found out it was us and before we killed her. It's gonna be fine, we'll kill Atom before she can touch us.” Yui said calmly. “What if Marcos told her…” Lio said, it was less like a question and more like she was talking out loud. “I doubt he would tell her, no average little girl would be able to handle that kind of information well.” Kanjiharu said confidently.

The two were confident they wouldn't get caught but they were worried that the little girl that they wanted to kill would kill them before they could kill her. They knew Atom was getting stronger. The last time they had someone attack her she killed all of them on her own and Miggy just sat back and watched. 

Atom's mother Emila Franzese was one of the most feared crime bosses in L.A. She made a name for herself in the underworld by the age of sixteen and Atom was following in her footsteps. Her father Marco Franzese is still one of the largest drug lords in Los Angeles and has locations in Russia, New York, Italy, and India.  

About ten years ago there were only three gangs more powerful than the Franzeses and because Kanjiharu framed two of them they got killed out of revenge. The third is still up  and running but is within an alliance with the Franzese gang. That's why Toshi and Erens gang hate Marco.. The third gang also known as the I Primi Americani was framed by Yui and Kanjiharu and Toshi was told that they were the ones who killed Emila.

Marco was with the head of their gang during a meeting when Emila was Murdered. Emila knew that her in-laws were going to kill her and Atom soon so that's why she had the doctors tell Toshi that when she gave birth to the triplets one was killed in the process. Emila after that hid Atom for a couple days until she could give her to Marco to hide her away.

Before Emila died she left Atom a notebook full of information and the only person who knew about it was Lio. Lio was a double agent but in reality the only task she cared about. One of the last things Emila ever did was tell Lio where Marco was hiding Atom. “Keep Atom safe.” Those were the last words Emila ever said to Lio. 

After Lio found Atom she tried to get as close as she could to her and she tried to make sure that when Atom finally came home she would be strong enough to handle it. Lio used to take Atom to shooting ranges, taught her to cook, taught her self defense and so much more.

Lio knew that her best friend was looking down on her and her daughter and she wanted to make sure that no matter what happened, Atom would stay alive!
