“I'm Atom.” I returned the same kind gesture Lilly showed. “Here follow me.” Lilly smiled and walked towards a table. Her smile looked so genuine but if all you did was focus on her eyes they were just dead, inside and out.“This is Myles.” Lilly started smiling at the boy. “Are you two dating?” Miggy asked the two. “Nope.” They both said casually as myles arm was wrapped around Lilly’s waist.
I looked at Myles and observed him for a moment while introductions were being made by Miggy. Myles had beautiful vitiligo skin though both skin colors were relatively light colored. He had brown hair that almost reached his shoulders.
“Ya know people ask us that question all the time.” Myles laughed. "O.M.G. Same." I groan and then laugh. “So then what's he to you?”
I looked at Myles as I saw his hands roaming her body slowly. “Sneaky link?” I raised my eyebrow curiously with a smirk. “Ya, I broke up with Zavyer cause everything felt one sided and then a whole bunch of other reasons.” She sighed as she ran her hand through her hair. “He's your sneaky link?” Lilly whispered and gestured to Miggy. “Ya pretty much.” I whisper to her with a mischievous smile. “Nice.” She fist bumped me.
“So how did you two meet?” Miggy asked. “School.” They both said in union. “Hello I’m Mckayla and I'll be your server today. Can I start you all with drinks today?” The waitress walked up to us and said kindly. “LOOK AT HER OUTFIT!!!” Alex basically screeched. screeched inside my head.
The waitress was wearing an extremely aesthetically pleasing dress that made this restaurant so much better. "Can I please get a sprite?" I said. "Yes, and for you?" She asked Miggy. "I'll get a Dr.Pepper." He replied.
"And I'll just assume you two are getting your regulars." The waitress said to the other two. "Well what else would we get?" Myles tilted his head with a smirk at the girl.
"I don't know, maybe something new?" Mckayla rolled her eyes. "Ima leave a bad review on yelp for this bad service." Lilly shook her head with her lips in a line.
The two girls looked at eachother and started laughing. "I'll be right back." Mckayla laughed.
"I'm assuming you two come here quite a bit then?" Miggy looked at the two across the table. "This is my relaxing spot." Lilly smiled looking around at the place.
"I love the aesthetic." I sigh as I appreciate the beautiful decor surrounding me. "Same here!" Lilly smiled brightly. Her eyes lit up and no longer looked dead for a split second before she stopped smiling and relaxed into the atmosphere.
"You're just as fake as me." I scoff. "What?" Lilly raised an eyebrow at me. "Your eyes show your reactions aren't genuine but I saw something when you smiled that last time…" I told her as I tried to read her.
"You don't have many real emotions, they're just reactions you've developed in order for people to stop thinking you're a psychopath. When in reality you're a high functioning sociopath with tons of trauma and you're extremely codependent and use humor to cover your problems." I state in a monotone.
Lilly paused for a moment before she burst out laughing. "Well there's a first.. I like you." She giggled. "So how'd you know?" Her face instantly drained of any emotion.
"Cause I'm the exact same way." I flash my best smile. "....Myles." Lilly said while staring at me with a blank expression. "Yes princess." He leaned on her shoulder. "Can we keep her?" She looked at the boy, making him laugh.
"That's up to her." Myles laughed. "You're my human now." Lilly looked at me and smiled. "As long as you're my human too." I shrugged "It's a deal!" Lilly smirked deviously.
