Take this Seriously.

Kade POV

I am walking to the backyard and see Jasmine sitting down while looking through a folder.

I walk up to her and sit down beside her. I kiss her on the neck, "What are you reading?"

She moans and then moves her neck, "Kade, stop! You have this belt on me so don't even try anything."

I grab her face and force her to look at me. I kiss her on the lips and she kisses me back. I lick her bottom lip and then pull away.

"I'm showing you the attention you've always wanted." I show her a teasing smile and she stares at me.

I look at the folder in her hand, "Why are you going into Black Dragon's past?"

She looks at the papers in front of her, "I might be able to find something. I'm doing nothing but training. You don't include me in anything."

I look at her and I can tell that she is upset that I don't let her do much. "Your training is more than enough for you right now."

I wrap my arms around her waist and she looks at me, "Kade, what are you going to do when it's time for me to go on a job?"

I put my face in her neck and she sighs, "Kade, I'm serious."

I let out a long sigh, "I haven't thought that far ahead yet."

She scoffs and pushes my face away from her neck, "Whatever Kade. I'm done talking and being around you."

She unwraps my arms from around her and scoots away from me. She tries to get up, but I grab her arm and pull her towards me.

I pull her onto my lap and rest my forehead between her neck and collarbone, "Why can't you just take it step by step?"

She lets out a long sigh, "Because your steps are taking too long. All you want me to do is train. You have not once had me look at any files. Or asked me to help you find this William guy."

"Jasmine, do I have to spell it out for you?"

I turn her around to make her straddle me and hold her face, "You are the only person I have ever cared this much about other than my little sister. If something were to happen to you, I don't know what I would do."

I squeeze her face and she holds my wrist. I put our foreheads together, "So you will be training until you can put up a fight against me and Zaiden. Plus you need longer than a few weeks of training. You can die and you will die if you are not fully ready."

I pull away and she looks past me, "You can look through the files all you want. From now on I will include you, but you will not go anywhere with Lyric until you are ready."

She looks at me again, "Do you understand?" She nods her head and I squeeze her thighs, "Now give me a kiss."

She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me. She pulls away, "I won't ask to go anywhere again until you say so."

I wrap my arms around her and lay down with her on top of me. "Can I take this belt off?"

"Kade." I hum in response.

I look at her and she moves her hands down my chest and put her hands in my pants. I let out a low groan and she kissed me on the lips, "Please Kade."

I pull her hand out of my pants, "Do you believe I will fall for that? How many times were you trying to seduce me back in high school?"

She pouts and crosses her arms, "That was high school. This is now, it should be easier now."

I laugh, "Nope, it's just a lot harder for me to not give in to you."
