Think About It.

Jasmine POV

"Estelle? We just found out she's my aunt who tried to kill me and my mother. Why should we ask her?"

Kade holds his right arm out, "Just hear me out. Estelle may know a little bit more than what you found. We can use Lyric as bait to contact her and get some information. A momentary truce, you can say."

I arch my eyebrow, "A truce? Why a truce?"

Kade looks at Tobias and then back at me, "We can offer her something or trade something for information."

Before I can say anything, Nancy beats me to it, "It's not a bad idea. Estelle is very greedy, and she only cares about herself. If you offer her something she likes, she will take the bait. But the offer has to involve Zaiden or Lyric, or both."

"Did you find anything on Estelle?"

Nancy shrugs her shoulders, "Not entirely. Just the basics. Everything else I have to dig for. She has a right-hand man and a left-hand woman. They are the only two that Estelle trusts."

Kade walks up to me, "Tell us. What are you thinking?"

I scoff and throw my hands up, "I don't know. Me and Lyric are cousins. My aunt tried to kill me. My only question is, what is the goal at the end of all of this?"

He shows me a look I can't describe, and he grabs my chin, "That's another thing we don't know. Calling the truce with Estelle and getting information is the best thing. But we have to get it through Zaiden and Lyric."

I hold my head. "We can talk about this later. The next time we talk, Lyric and Zaiden will be here. Zaiden may know something if we tell him."

Kade nods his head, "Okay, that's fine. What do you want to do?"

I let out a long sigh, "I don't know. On second thought. Let's go back to Zaiden's room."

We walk to Zaiden's room, and I open the door.

"How are you still fucking?!"

I cover my eyes after seeing Lyric on top of Zaiden.

I peek through my fingers and see them looking our way.

"Why did you come back? We're not done, as you can see."

He squeezes Lyric's butt and spreads her cheeks, "Zaidy."

Kade slams the door shut, and I bang on it, "Come out as soon as you're done!"

"I don't think I can recover from that." Tobias says as he scratches his head.

I look and realize Luke and Nancy aren't with us, "Where's Nancy and Luke?"

We walk back to the lab and see Nancy and Luke sitting at the table where we left them.

"Did you not come?" Kade asks as he leans against the wall.

Nancy looks at him and nods her head, "Zaiden and Lyric weren't done. They never just do one round."

I give her a lazy look, "And you didn't want to tell us that because?"

She looks at Luke, "Luke told me not to say anything. Luke says it's payback because you allowed Zaiden to hug me."

Kade and I look at Luke, and he clears his throat. "Nancy, baby, I could have told them that myself."

Nancy smiles at him, "I'm sorry."

Luke cups her face and places his forehead against hers.

Luke looks at us, "Did you enjoy the show?"
