Jasmine POV

It's been a full day since Lyric went in for the nuke codes. I am sitting outside on my phone on the balcony when Zaiden comes out.

"Jasmine." I look at him as he sits down.

"How are you feeling? Do you feel like snapping someone's neck or you feel like you could go for a run?"

He gives me a look, "I'm telling you so you better keep this to yourself. Truthfully, I want to snap someone's neck, but since I refuse to stay here with the brothers and babysit, I'm telling Kade that I feel fine."

I hum in response and he sighs, "What do you think your parents are hiding?"

I show him an unsure look and he rolls his eyes, "All I can think about is Bunny. Bunny may be enjoying the touch of another man or woman. I don't want my Bunny in anyone's arms but mine."

I groan and hit his shoulder, "Okay, Zaiden. You can't stop thinking about Bunny."

He glares at me and I show him a teasing smile, "Oops."

"Answer the question before I snap."

I let out a sigh, "There's a lot more to Estelle other than it being some longstanding mafia beef. It's more to it."

He nods his head and my eyes widen, "Wait, you know something, don't you?"

He looks up at the sky and shrugs his shoulders, "The whole Black Dragon seems like a family thing. Parents trying to protect their kids, but what these parents don't know is that the protector can't always protect. Eventually, the protected will need to act on their own."

I tilt my head to the side and he laughs, "The old generation of Black Dragon is hiding what they think is best for the new generation until they can figure out the situation."

I look straight ahead, "How can we get them to tell us everything? They won't even tell Cain everything."

He hums in response and smiles, "I have an idea. Let me know when you go to the safehouse to talk to your parents."

I give him an uneasy look and he leans in closer to me, "Is Jasmine scared to take a little risk?"

I roll my eyes, "I'm never scared of a little risk. My only thing is what kind of risk am I taking with you?"

He stands up and stretches, "The risk is you don't have no idea what I'm doing."

My mouth drops, "That's not just a little risk, that's a big risk when dealing with you."

He shrugs his shoulders nonchalantly, "Everything will work out. Just go with that."

Kade comes out and looks at us, "What are you two talking about?"

Before I can answer him Zaiden beats me to it, "Just telling Jasmine how I feel since it's been a full day without my Bunny."

Kade walks up to me and kisses me on the lips, "And how are you feeling?"

Zaiden makes a little sound, "I'm okay. Not in a killing mood."

Kade looks at me and I nod my head. I look away from him and he forces me to look at him, "Nope, Zaiden, you're staying with the brothers."

My eyes widen and Zaiden's mouth drops, "What the hell Jasmine?"

I throw my hands up in surrender, "I didn't do anything! He just looked at me!"

Kade smirks at me and cups my face, "Oh, Jasmine. You will never be able to keep anything from me."

He kisses me on the lips and then looks at Zaiden.
