"Why didn't you try to talk Lyric into it."

I pull Jasmine towards me and wrap my arms around her waist, "You have to remember Lyric is still a grown woman with a child's mind. She approaches everything differently and you still have to talk to her a certain way."

She rolls her eyes and groans, "I wasn't going to say anything wrong."

I shake my head, "Even if it wasn't going to be wrong you still have to watch the way you say it. Give them time."

I kiss her forehead and she jumps up for me to catch her, "Would you want to be apart from me after we just got back together?"

I quickly shake my head, "Absolutely not."

I laugh and squeeze her butt, "Okay, although it was a short time, Lyric and Zaiden were still apart and in Lyric, or even Zaiden's eyes it was too long."

She pokes her lips out and mumbles under her breath, "Next thing to do is go talk to our parents."

I pull from him, "What? Why? I don't want to see my parents right now."

"We're going to see my dad along with going to go speak to Haven's parents."

She arches her eyebrow, "So does that mean we're leaving?"

I nod, "Yeah, we can come back once Lyric and Zaiden tell us what they're doing."

Before I can say anything Lyric opens the door, "Are you leaving because we haven't decided if we want to help or not?"

She has a small pout on her face and I walk up to her, "No, we were going to leave anyway. We'll be back unless you want to come with us."

She looks at my chest and I see something run through her eyes. I place my hand on her head, "I'm not mad and we're not going to be gone long. Just going to find out about Zaiden's royal blood."

She nods her head and looks at Jasmine, "Me and Zaidy will help, but we want to wait for a little bit."

Jasmine nods and shows Lyric a small smile, "That's fine. We'll find Estelle and your mom when you're ready."

Lyric smiles and takes in a deep breath, "Okay! I feel better. I don't like it when Kade is mad at me."

I bend down to her level, "When have I ever been mad at you?"

She hums and then shrugs her shoulders, "I don't know. I just don't want you or Cain to dislike me."

I arch my eyebrow, "Cain?"

She nods and smiles, "Yep! Cain saved me from blowing up and Kade gave me doughnuts."

She motions for me to come closer and she looks around, "Kade is my favorite person besides Zaidy. Shhh, don't tell Zaidy."

I laugh and she tilts her head to the side, "Lyric you just gave me the best thing to get at Zaiden with. Thank you. Other than Jasmine you're my favorite person."

I put my finger over my lips and we look behind me and see Jasmine watching us with her arms crossed.

"Shhh, it's only our secret." I hold my pinky out and she hooks my pinky with hers, "I won't tell Jasmine as long as you don't tell Zaidy."

I nod my head, "Deal."

She skips out and Jasmine walks up to me, "What did she say that was so funny?"

I look at Jasmine and smile, "Something that can get under Zaiden's skin."

I pull out my phone and dial Niall's number, "What's up, Kade?"
