Kade POV

"Zaiden, back the fuck up!"

He looks at me and smiles, "Why? I'm just asking Jasmine a question?"

He rests his forehead against hers with his eyes as I take a step forward, "I'll squeeze harder if you take another step."

Jasmine lifts her knee and Zaiden blocks it and pushes her away. She holds her neck and comes up to me.

I hold her face and tilt her head to the side so I can look at her neck to see if there is any bruising or markings.

I push Jasmine behind me and glare at Zaiden, "What's the plan, Kade? Are we going to get Bunny and the stupid ass codes you need?"

"Nancy is trying to see what was the last thing the camera has seen. Until then calm the fuck down."

I walk up to him and he stands his ground, "Don't put your hands on Jasmine ever again."

He keeps eye contact and a small smile crawls on his lips, "I'll think about it."

"Kade, do you think I'm slow? Do you think I truly believe this mission is just for some nuke codes?"

He stops smiling and keeps eye contact, "At the end of this I will be the one mostly benefitting from this."

He looks at Jasmine, "I didn't choke you hard enough to leave a bruise, just enough to scare you and to piss Kade off."

Jasmine stares at him and he shrugs his shoulders and laughs, "What can you say? I am a psycho who's obsessed with his Bunny."

He walks out and I turn to look at Jasmine, "You okay?"

She nods her head, "Yeah, I was just surprised. Kade, you still want to keep it from him?"

I shrug my shoulders, "He already knows."

She looks at me, "How do you know? He was asking me if there was anything else to the mission."

I let out a soft sigh, "He was just seeing to see if you would tell him or not. If he doesn't know then at most he is catching on. It's pointless and it's too late. Whatever Zaiden is going to do he is going to do it."

We walk to the living room and Nancy is typing away on her computer.

Nancy lets out a relieved sigh and we all look at her, "Good and bad news."

She looks at Kade, "The good news is that the camera cut off right after she got shot out of the sky. The bad news is that Zaiden is the last thing the camera sees."

Zaiden laughs, "That makes going in there even better."

I let out a breath I never knew I was holding, "Okay, that's good and not so bad. Zaiden doesn't mind the attention."

I look at Jasmine, "Call your mom and tell her what's going on."

She nods her head and I look at Nancy, "If you can fix the contact cam up and put it back in the eagle eyes that would be the best thing you could do for me."

She shows me a smile and nods her head, "I more than likely can. Will Zaiden be okay?"

Luke groans and Zaiden laughs, "If you worry too much about me, Luke will get jealous."

Nancy looks at Zaiden, "I have to worry about you."

He hums in response and Luke rolls his eyes, "I can't wait until Lyric gets back here."

Zaiden stands up and stretches, "Tell Scarlett to send out something saying the codes are being auctioned off early."

He looks at me and I look at Jasmine who is on the phone with Scarlett now.
