When the rain stopped - and after taking thousands of pictures - we decided to continue with the rides. This time, I asked him what he wanted to do first.

"ATV? Mukhang wala masyadong tao so I think we can go check it out?" he suggested.

Sumang-ayon ako sa sinabi niya kaya bumaba na kami. Pagkarating namin doon, may isang guide at dalawang personnel na nagdemo sa amin paano paandarin ang sasakyan.

"Bale since beginner pa lang po, diretso na muna po tayo. Saka na tayo umikot po pag nasanay na kayo sa pag-andar," sabi ng nag-assist sa akin.

We took a few pictures before starting. May dalawang lalaking nakaabang sa likod ko just in case mamali ako sa pag andar o kapag nawalan ng balanse. Levi, on the other hand, is used to this so he didn't need that much help.

"Carlotta, follow my lead lang. I'll show you how to drive this thing fast," pagmamayabang ni Kumag.

Nakailang ikot na siya sa field pero hindi ko siya pinansin dahil competitive ako. 'Yung dalawang nag-aassist naman sa akin eh madalas hinihila 'yung likod pag nasobrahan ako sa bilis.

After a few more rounds, the assistants became at ease with how I drive. So they let me be. Si Levi naman mukhang enjoy na enjoy na ipamukha sa akin kung gaano siya kabilis.

At dahil nga ang lakas ng loob ko gayong baguhan pa lang ako, sinubukan ko na pabilisin 'yung takbo ko. I was mostly screaming because the wind felt good. I feel like I can drive the hard route, too!

And due to me being preoccupied, I forgot to notice that there's a lump of soil on the road I am headed. My cart swerved for a while before I felt my whole body (face first) flew from the cart to the muddy ground.

Next thing I heard are the panicked voices of the men around me.

"Oh my gosh," was the only thing I could muster.

"Carlotta, what the heck?!" I can here Levi's disappointment from a dar

The assistants helped me up while the guide pulled the cart up. They kelt asking me if I'm alright but I just nodded because I feel kind of embarrassed.

"Bakit hindi nag-brake? Sira po ba ang brake ng ginamit niya, Sir?"

Levi approached me with a worried look on his face and kept interrogating the guide. He pulled out a handkerchief out of his pocket and gave it to me before inspecting my arms and face for any wounds.

Ang lakas pa rin ng kabog ng dibdib ko dahil sa nangyari.

"Na-late po yata ng preno si Ma'am po, kaya yata tumilapon po yung ATV. Pasensya na po, Sir," pagpaumanhin ng assistant.

"Ayun na nga po, pero dapat nasa likod lang po kayo ng cart niya kasi hindi siya sanay dito tapos maputik pa po."

His ears are turning red and I think it's because he's getting mad. Ngayon ko lang yata siya nakitang totoong galit.

"Uh, okay lang ako. I kinda panicked so I didn't get to actually clutch the brake. Sorry po talaga, kasalanan ko po," pagsingit ko. Baka kapag hindi pa ako nagsalita eh mas uminit ulo ni Levi.

"Anong kasalanan mo?" pasigaw na sabi niya sa akin. "Mabuti nga medyo maputik yung kalsada at buti hindi ka naipit sa baba ng ATV! You could've been badly hurt!"

I was looking at him with wide eyes. Why is he getting angry at me though?

And I did something I always do whenever I'm nervous. I laughed.

"And you think this is something funny?!" oh boy, he is pissed.

"No, sorry." I said, trying hard to stop myself from laughing. "I was so excited to beat you so I ended up being competitive and forget to brake, really! It's just so funny ang lakas ng loob ko tapos sumubsob lang ako sa putik!"
