Half of the class was attempting to stand on the water in a small lake outside of the school.

Most of them were shaky and trying extremely hard not to fall completely.

y/n meanwhile, was standing there effortlessly, looking around at everyone with an amused look.

"Just focus on amassing Chakra in the soles of your feet." Shino informed, standing in front of the lake with the other half of the class behind him. "If you can control Chakra skillfully, it's possible to even walk on water."

"I'm at a disadvantage compared to everyone." Cho-Cho mumbled, her legs wobbling under her as she tried to keep balance.

"Walking on water? Isn't that ridiculous? So why do we have boats then?" Sarada questioned, a hand resting on her hip.

"Don't talk to me!" Cho-Cho cried, trying not to lose her focus.

y/n walked over casually, her hands resting in her pockets. "Would a boat save me from falling into a waterfall? The correct answer is yes, if I aim properly."

"Alright then... How about, this?" Shino raised his hand a little, infusing it with Chakra before pushing it into the water. He quickly started creating waves, making almost all the students fall in immediately.

Sarada and Cho-Cho were left wobbling, but it wasn't long before they both fell in with the others.

y/n crouched down and waddled over to her fallen sister with a smile. "This is fun!"

"The surface of water never stays the same. Actual rivers and oceans are nothing like this." Shino announced.

y/n was walking in sync with her Sarada, both of them holding a grocery bag.

"Vegetables have gotten so expensive..." Sarada mumbled, referring to the food they had in the plastic bags. y/n nodded, kicking a pebble on the ground.

The villages train suddenly started passing, and y/n looked up with a smile. "Hey, guys!" She yelled out, waving to the group of boys sitting on the top of it.

They all jumped off, landing in front of the twins. "This is dangerous, Boruto!" Denki cried, looking over at the blond.

y/n laughed and ran over, ruffling the boys black hair. "You'll be fine!" She assured, turning to look at the others.

"Yo, y/n!" Boruto smiled, wrapping his arm around her shoulder like he usually did. "Sarada's with you? Is that why you couldn't come with us today?"

y/n nodded, waving the girl towards them. Sarada walked over with a sigh. "Up to no good again?"

"We're gonna teach Denki how to fish..." Shikadai explained, his hands stuffed into his pockets like usual. "Though it's kind of a drag."

"Can you believe it?" Boruto questioned, looking over at y/n with wide eyes. "He's never gone fishing."

y/n looked back at Denki with a shocked face. "Is that a rich kid thing?"

"I-I've played fishing games." Denki defended, his shoulders tensing up.

"You two should join us if you're free." Boruto smiled, looking between the Uchiha's.

"We have to get dinner ready." Sarada stated plainly, holding up the grocery bag she had. y/n sighed and nodded, getting out from under Boruto's arm before walking back over to her sister. "Not that I care, but you guys should learn how to ride a train properly."
