Sorry for such a short chapter guys. There were a lot of other pov's in this episode.

"Hold on a minute!" Boruto yelled, him and y/n running up to Chojuro and Mei.

The redheaded woman turned around with her blue-haired successor. "Boruto Uzumaki and y/n Uchiha! What are you doing here?"Chjouro questioned, seeing the panting kids before him.

"Don't tell me Shizuma and his gang..." Mei started, kinda catching on as to why the kids were there before them.

"Kagura's not a bad guy. Shizuma is just exploiting Kagura's weaknesses! I know he just went along in order to rescue me and y/n!" Boruto defended the kid before any questions had even been asked.

"Even still, this does not involve you. This is solely a problem of the Hidden Mist. No matter his reason, he turned against the village." Chojuro stated with finality. Boruto's eyes widened.

"They're all trying to turn this village into the Blood Mist again..." Mei spoke up.

"'They'? Are you lumping Kagura in with them?! He's not doing this because he wants to! You know that better than anyone else!" Boruto yelled, losing his semi-calm composure very quickly.

Chojuro rested his hand on the blonde's shoulder. "Boruto... I'm grateful for your kindness. However, Kagura is a shinobi too. If he breaks the rules, he must suffer the consequences as a shinobi." He let go of the boy, standing back up straight.

"'As a shinobi'? But you don't want to kill Kagura, do you?" y/n asked, resting a hand on her hip. Chojuro looked away from the girl and she took a small step forward. "Sacrificing a life to protect the village... Is that what the Mizukage does? As someone who lived by that rule for many days, I doubt that's who you are."

Chojuro turned away from the kids completely this time, holding his newly picked up sword. "I won't make you try to understand. It's just... this is all I can do right now."

y/n sighed before she quickly got an idea. "Put simply... It would be okay if this wasn't a rebellion, right?"

"y/n?" Chojuro turned and looked at the girl.

"Those guys are just boring ol' thugs, not the new Seven Ninja Swordsmen. The boys and I got caught up in a fight with them." The girl explained with a smirk, her hand resting on her hip.

"y/n, what are you saying?" Boruto questioned, looking over at the girl slightly.

"Just that, we're gonna get back at them now." y/n stated, looking over at Mei cheerily. "This is just a fight between kids who don't know any better!" She turned her sights to Chojuro and his eyes grew wider.

Mei laughed a little with a small shrug. "I get it. It's just a fight."

y/n smiled with a small laugh. "That's all it is."

Boruto looked over at the girl with a pout. "You stole my idea..." y/n laughed a little and ruffled the boy's soft blonde tufts.  "Wait, what about roll call at ten tonight?" He questioned, since neither him nor y/n had thought about it.

"We'll just have to have this all wrapped up by then." y/n stated with a shrug, blowing a piece of hair out of her face.

"Pretty ingenious... However, did you two think we'd approve of such a plan?" Mei asked, bending over to the kid's height.

"Oww!" Boruto cried out, suddenly kneeling to the ground.

"Boruto!" y/n put her hand on his back, rubbing small circles. A smirk plastered on her face that was hidden from the adults.
