"Holy shit that's huge!" I cry out, walking ahead of my friend as he scrambled to try and stop me.
"y-y/n! Language!" He catches up quickly, resting a hand on my shoulder so he can stop and take a breath. "Why are you so excited anyway?"
I look down at the boy with glee, motioning to the giant device he's gonna take me on. "Hot air balloons are expensive as crap!"
He nods, fixing his glasses a little with a small blush decorating his cheeks. "Yes well— uhp!— I thought you'd— uhp!— like it."
I chuckle at his sudden hiccups and see that someone is getting the balloon ready for us to board.
"I get hiccups when I'm nervous," Denki admits, looking down at the grassy area used as the launching pad.
"That's okay, when I'm nervous I kill things," I attempt to lighten the mood, wrapping my arm around the boy's neck to guide him towards the balloon. "Besides, I'll be there. No need to get nervous over a silly little balloon."
"It's not the balloon I'm nervous about."
I ignore his comment, stepping into the basket, seeing it was tied down to the ground by rope. "Is that gonna keep us above the factory?"
The worker nods with a small smile. "Young Master requested no one be up there with you two, so we chose the next best option."
I nod, watching Denki get in beside me. It was a tight fit, but nothing too bad since he was such a small kid.
"The balloon will begin filling with air in just a moment," I look up in anticipation as the fire starts, stuffing the hot air balloon up enough that we start levitating off the ground. "Don't move too much and you two should be fine. When you want down just yank this rope and we'll get you out of there."
While I'm listening to the directions I can't help but see that Denki is sitting on the ground, practically hiding away from everyone.
The worker sends us off and I immediately sit beside my classmate, waiting to see if he'll look out at me.
"W-Why is it that this h-has to be so difficult?" He questions, voice slightly muffled from his knees in his face.
"Heights can be a hard fear to get over, but I'm sure that if you just follow my lead you can be confident in no time," I pat his shoulder, letting the boy know I was there for him.
I always had a soft spot for the guy. Ever since Boruto and I helped him get away from those bullies all that time ago. "I already said that isn't what I'm struggling with, y/n."
His tone is serious, and I take a second to register what he's saying. If not heights, then what?
"Is your team giving you trouble recently? Just give the word and I'll wreck any of them up," I crack my knuckles, smirking at the thought of punching some faces in for my sweet baby.
"No y/n! It's you! Why are you so difficult!" He finally looks up, tears streaking down his cheeks with a red face.
This time I just stare, not aware of what to say at first. "I'm... difficult?"
His eyes widen and he shakes his head, taking his glasses off to wipe his tears. "No! Not you! Me! I'm the difficult one... I just— I wanted to— you know— ugh!"
"Denki," I sigh, taking his head into my hands carefully. My thumbs wipe his tears away and I smile, putting a small kiss on his forehead. "Of course I'll go out with you."
He sniffles, looking at me with his glasses off and hair flying every which way from the wind of the sky, same with mine. "Really? You understood that?"
"Of course. You just had to ask," I laugh, pulling him into a hug, his face buried into my shoulder as I run my hands up and down his back soothingly. "My sweet baby."
You chose Denki as your boyfriend!
This path's outcome...
Sasuke: confused on who the kid is; angry about who the kid is; likes who the kid is; names a train after himself.
Ereki: Ecstatic that his son was able to pick up such a strong and beautiful young ninja heir. Ends up spoiling y/n and her family as if they were his own. (Boruto sneaks in on it a few times)
Sarada: Laughs at y/n for picking such a random choice; thinks of Denki as a brother; tons of sleepovers and manicures.
Class: Hardcore ships it with how cute the two are together
y/n's overall life
Does end up leaving the village to try and find herself, but not out of anger, and she doesn't hurt anyone. Rather than it being a journey of hatred, she attempts to make things different; despising her father for the way he handled himself when he was young.
She leaves Team Seven at fourteen to run away, not coming back until her seventeenth birthday, when she decides that she's hurt those she loves enough with being gone so long without a word of her whereabouts.
Denki is heartbroken when she leaves, getting lost in training to be better so much that he nearly cuts off all communication with the village, becoming like a second Naruto. (Not in strength, obviously)
Sasuke tracks his daughter (she's aware he does it) so he can be certain she isn't a threat to Konoha.
When arriving back in the village Denki immediately finds y/n after getting word from Iwabe, showering her in love as much as he can.
y/n ends up getting a job with the Kaminarimon Company, becoming the boss to a lot of the men and women that work there after climbing the ladder properly. She hates shortcuts and refused every time her boyfriend or his father would insist she work beside them.
The two partners decide not to get married because of all the money Denki has. They both know the dangers of money in a world full of bandits, and Denki doesn't want to put y/n at risk of being kidnapped, or worse.
Remember that showered-in-love thing? Yeah, y/n gave birth to twin boys at the age of 17, deciding to raise them the best she can with Denki. It wasn't too bad, he was rich and she was determined, not much was stopping them.
In the end, y/n lived a comfortable life, making sure her kids weren't spoiled rotten like her blond friend and Denki doesn't waste money on them. She eventually dies of old age a year or so after Denki, happy with herself and finally content.
Denki spends every day of his life practically worshiping y/n, treating her as if she were a queen. There wasn't a day that went by where he didn't get her something, no matter how large or small it was. Fun fact, he bought her a boat once, which she forced him to return moments later. (They took a ride on it first)
The twins were both rather quiet as kids, keeping mostly to themselves throughout their childhoods, not because they were forced to, it was just their personalities. Denki and y/n were fine with it as long as the boys were happy.
Like his dad, the oldest twin was practically a genius. The few things he did get from his mom were smaller genes like amazing eyesight and fast reflexes. But, he chooses to go into the medical field for medicine rather than become a ninja as the rest of the family had. It was part of a silent oath he'd taken after seeing the disadvantages his brother had in life.
The youngest ended up taking after both his parents quite equally, receiving the Sharingan like his mother but the fears and eyesight of his father. Due to those fears and y/n's overall worry for the curse, their youngest son was kept from the ninja world completely, being raised as a normal child. A decision y/n would later explain to him when he was old enough. Because of this, he instead became the heir to the company since his oldest brother didn't want the position.
