"Freaking mosquitos!" I slapped another one of the pests away, growling at their persistence to get my skin. "I don't wanna be the mother to your babies!"

Shikadai walked beside me, hands in his pockets while strolling along. Nothing seemed to be chasing after him.

"Ever hear of this magical thing called bug spray?" He smirked, proving how cocky he was.

"You know it all bastard!" I dived for him, missing terribly when his body dodged to the side, continuing its walk as if nothing had happened in the first place.

"Too slow. Try to not be predictable; it reflects poorly on your family," Shikadai stated, avoiding some of the nicer-looking flowers inside of the field we were at.

"I'm close to predicting your death... hmm? What was that? Suffocation? How bizarre," As the words left my mouth I slowly pretended to grab the Nara's neck.

He laughed, turning around to face me, his breath hitting my nose with how close he was. "Don't be so sure of yourself, Uchiha."

I blushed fifty shades, jumping back on instinct. "What the hell! You cocky bastard! Don't get so close to me." I shied away at the last minute, putting my hands down to pull at my shirt. "Asshole..."

"I heard that," He spoke from ahead of me, not stopping when I had.

"Good!"

I stomped after him, waiting to see where he was gonna go. This trip wasn't planned for me, Shikadai had just walked up to my house with an irked face and dragged me out.

Mom sighed when she saw it, and a smile was on her face. The look of it still gave me shivers. She seemed too content.

"So like, are you trying to kill me or something? Is this gonna be some type of Texas Chainsaw Massacre stuff?" I had finally caught back up with my friend and he shook his head, looking up at the sky a little bit.

"No."

We sat in silence for a few minutes, which I didn't mind. Sitting in silence was calming. That is until the thoughts catch up with me.

The blood. The horror. The... murder.

"Here," Shikadai sat down on the grass, hands out of his pockets as he laid down completely. "This is the place."

"Huh?" I tilt my head, looking around to see we were just in a basic field. There were tons of these in the world, and there were especially tons in Konoha. Uncle Naruto made sure of that on Shikamarus request.

"Just lay down you idiot Uchiha," He rolled his eyes at me before putting focus back to the sky.

I lay down with a huff, resting my hands on my stomach comfortably. "Now what? Nara."

He laughs at the anger I put into my tone when using his last name. "Look up."

I did as he said, a small gasp leaving my mouth. "...Pretty."

"Mhm," Shikadai hums, his face looking over at me as I observe all the thousands of stars decorating the sky.

They twinkled, each one illuminating the ground I rested on as they surrounded the large moon that hurt my eyes it was so bright.

"Tonight is the Blue Moon, I wanted you to come see it with me," Shikadai whispered, his eyes still focused on me.

I turned to look back at him, giving a strong smile. "You are amazing Shika, this is beautiful. I've never seen it before."

He nods, looking back to the sky. "Do you know constellations?"

I shake my head, looking back at the shimmering scene in awe. "I don't need to know them though. This is still just as amazing."
