A ton of villagers ran away as a chubby boy with black hair shot fire at them. "Those bastards who failed me at the Academy don't know anything! I'll show them how strong I am!"

Boruto, Shikadai, y/n, and Iwabe, were on the small bridge above him, and they all turned together to look at the scene.

"Damn it, what a drag, first thing in the morning..." Shikadai complained, his hands stuffed into his pockets.

"Why don't you just cry me a river." y/n mumbled, rolling her eyes since the boy had been complaining all morning. "I need a place to have a vacation anyways."

"Who is that? He reminds me of you, Iwabe." Boruto said, looking over at his tall friend.

"Don't group me in with him. Besides, he looks like y/n, the black hair, Fire Jutsu's and everything." Iwabe stated, pointing over to the girl that stood next to him, trying take the attention off him.

She hit her elder on the back of the head in return. "I'm an Uchiha, my features have nothing to do with him." y/n stated with a huff.

The boy turned and looked up at the group of kids as if he heard them all talking. "Hey, if it isn't Mr. Iwabe. I heard you lost to that runt and turned over a new leaf..." He stated, pointing up at the repeater.

"Oh, shut up. You used to suck up to me all the time." Iwabe smirked, looking at the guy below.

"What?!" He cried out. "I'm not the same as I was yesterday!" After finishing his sentence, he shot a fireball right up at the kids. They quickly jumped out of the way, dodging the attack narrowly.

"Whoa... That was close!" Boruto exclaimed and y/n looked down at the kid.

"Someone's having a temper tantrum." She mumbled sarcastically.

"Huh...?" Boruto questioned suddenly, and y/n shot her head over to see the boy's eye was activated.

'It's like with Metal and Denki.' She thought, growing serious as the group landed on their feet.

"Leave him alone. The grownups will deal with him soon." Shikadai informed, but Boruto didn't seem to hear him as he ran forward.

"It's back again." He mumbled.

"Hey, Boruto!" Shikadai yelled after him, but the boy didn't stop.

The raging fire user put his fingers together and shot another fireball. Boruto was about to be hit by it, but a mud wall held him above it.

"Wha-?" The guy turned to see Iwabe on the ground.

"You're mine!" Boruto yelled and jumped down from the jutsu, kicking the boy on the side of his face.

When he got his senses back from the attack, he looked to see the group of kids standing in front of him with smiles.

"Lemme at him next!" Iwabe declared with a smirk.

"No, I wanna get a punch in." y/n claimed, having a pushing contest with Iwabe to reach the kid first.

"Whoa!" The boy put his fingers together and took in a deep breath.

He shot the fireball at the ground, making a dust cloud appear as he quickly turned around and ran from the four.

"I won't let him get away, ya know!" Boruto yelled, as the other kids blocked their eyes from in the middle of the dust cloud. The blond ran ahead of the group, chasing the boy down.

"Boruto, wait up!" y/n called, following him at a fast pace.

"Hold it!" Boruto cried, seeing the enemy turn a corner.
