Everyone was silent as they rode on the giant Susano'o through the sky. y/n was staring at the passing clouds, her legs shaking a little. 'W-We're really high up...'

Sarada seemed to be deep in thought, not paying much attention to everyone else. 'How does dad really feel about mom? What really went on between them?'

It was as if Naruto could read the girls thought's, because his hand was placed on Sarada's shoulder, catching her attention. The man didn't look over at her. Instead, he kept his head trained ahead with a smile.

'Lord Seventh... I'm gonna save all this thinking for later. Right now, I just wanna save mom! That's all that matters!'

"We should be close. Naruto, sense them out." Sasuke's voice broke Sarada out of her thoughts, making her look back up from the ground.

"Right!" Naruto nodded, and it wasn't long before they were all flying towards the area Sakura was supposed to be held.

The group was back to running on foot, heading straight for the curved structures ahead.

"So this is Shin Uchiha's hideout!" Sarada commented, seeing the different tunnel entrances in the side of the mountain.

"They're coming!" Sasuke stated quickly, referring to the enemies that had appeared right after he spoke up.

"What?! Three of them with the same face?!" Cho-Cho freaked, seeing three familiar paperwhite kids running for them.

"These are clones!" Naruto stated, his eyes narrowed.

"Father's orders... Get rid of the intruders." One of the Shin's stated duly, and Naruto made three clones to go attack the children.

y/n ran ahead, pushing off hard with her foot to get more speed. She grabbed Sarada's arm, pulling her away with her.

"Hey, y/n?! Sarada?!" Cho-Cho yelled after the girls, watching them run right for the heat of battle.

One of the Shins turned back with their large weapon, and y/n threw Sarada into the air, before using her momentum to slide under the boy's blade.

She quickly got back on her feet as Sarada landed next to her from the throw. They continued their run to the base.

"I'm sorry, Lord Seventh! We're gonna go rescue mom!" y/n yelled back her apology, both girls going for the tunnel they watched the Shin's run out from.

"Damn it. Sasuke! Go with them! Just let me handle these guys!" Naruto ordered, and Sasuke jumped off without question.

Naruto stopped his own running to focus on his fight with the kids.

"Huh? Then what about me?!" Cho-Cho questioned, looking around with wide eyes as she grew beads of sweat.

"Didn't I tell you? I'll protect you." Naruto smiled, appearing next to the Akamichi. She grew a small blush on her cheeks at his bold statement. "First, let's immobilize them..."

Naruto stopped talking when he saw more Shin's appearing, successfully surrounding them.

"Creepy!" Cho-Cho mumbled with drooped eyes. "Just how many of them are there?"

y/n dropped down into a cave with Sarada right behind her. They ran quickly, not caring for the creepy surroundings.

'Mom! We swear we'll save you!' Sarada was lost in thought as she ran ahead of her twin.

y/n stopped, hearing the small click her sister caused. "Shit."
