We all just stood there. I was looking at Mr. Williams, he was looking at Mr. Wood, and Mr.Wood was looking at me. Soon my gaze fell on Mr. Wood, and he started to speak

"Umm.... yes, Mr. Williams," he began. "She... uh... she was turning the corner, as was I, and we sorta collided. I had to make sure she didn't fall and... well... that was the first thing I thought of." He didn't exactly lie. I mean, that is what happened.

"Yes, well, that still doesn't explain what all happened after. You both simply could've ju-," he said, but Mr. Wood cut him off.

"We were both in shock, sir," he said. I gave him a questioning look, and he started explaining, "We both didn't expect to see each other here, I guess. We're old friends, you see? I didn't know she was still in high school." He shot me a small glare, but not enough for Mr. Williams to notice.

"Well, very well, then," Mr. Williams said. "Have a nice day and get fo class." He walked off.
