Kim Jisoo

"Jennie, you can't go now. We need to talk." I put my hands on her shoulders.

"I don't wanna talk to you." She tries to free herself "Nayeon is not enough, now Hong?"

"What are you talking about?" I frown in confusion.

"Sooya, I better go." Soojoo says before Jennie answers me, just then I remember she's still here.

"Are you sure? I can go with you, but..."

"Yeah, of course, Jisoo, go after her, just like you did years ago." Jennie crosses her arms, making me look between the two of them.

"You don't need to go with me, you already helped me a lot yesterday." Soojoo gives me a soft smile and I just nod my head.

"You're not leaving until we talk, Jennie." I say as I listen to Soojoo gather her things.

"You can't make me." Jennie lifts her chin, challenging me.

"Yes, I can." I look back at her after Soojoo leaves the apartment and I release Jennie. "What does Nayeon have to do with it?"

"You're supposed to tell me that, aren't you? You were the one flirting with her a few days ago, in public." She shakes her head in denial and pushes me away, walking towards the door.

"I said you won't leave here." I grab her wrist and grit my teeth. "What the hell are you talking about?"

She tries to pull her wrist, but I don't let go. I'm afraid if I let go of her, she'll go away again. I watch Jennie pick up her phone and a few seconds later she shoves the screen in front of my face.

"Ex-idol Kim Jisoo is seen flirting with Im Nayeon. Looks like you can step out of the idol life, but your crush isn't, who ships this couple?"

"What the hell..." I start to say as I read it for the third time and Jennie takes the opportunity to let go.

"And now I come here, I come straight from the airport, to find out that you were having fun last night with Soojoo." her tone is angry and hurt at the same time. I'm still processing this shit news when I look up to see Jennie, her eyes red and teary.

"What?!"

"Your bed says everything." She points with her chin to the room and a tear runs down her cheek.

"No, damn it, Jennie, nothing happened between me and Soojoo." I run my hand over my face and grab her wrist again, pulling her towards the sofa. "You got it wrong, let's start with parts. Nayeon or Soojoo?" She raises one of her eyebrows and I throw myself on the couch, while she stands watching me "Come on, it was dawn when the doorbell rang and Soojoo threw herself on top of me..."

"Jisoo, you're not improving the situation." Jennie crosses her arms and I swallow hard.

"Listen to me, okay? That's it, just listen to me." My voice cracks a little. By God, how could this woman be so frightening? "Soojoo went on a date yesterday..."

"Bitch!"

"Jennie!" I try to take her hand, but she takes a step back "The taxi driver tried to abuse her, she managed to escape and realized she was close by. Soojoo said she could only think of me to help her, that's why she came here. She was pretty shaken up, Jen, I swear. I comforted her until she was better, then got her pajamas to shower and change." I run my hand over my face and take a deep breath "I slept on the couch and she in my room. My neck is aching a little because of it, but I swear to you nothing happened."

"Jisoo" she squints her eyes "I hope you're not lying to me."

"Jen! I would never invent something like that. When you arrived, I was just finishing getting ready to take Soojoo to the police station, to file a complaint. Who knows how many victims this disgusting pig could make if no one reports him?"

"This is sad and tragic, even though I hate Soojoo, I don't wish her any harm." Jennie says after a few minutes and sits beside me "But what about Nayeon?"

"Bunny? Now the hospital has a wing just for treating idols, Soojoo and I are responsible for coordinating everything" I roll my eyes at how privileged this sounds "Nayeon just made up he was feeling bad to put me against the wall to tell her everything about Jensoo."

"What?" Jennie looks at me in surprise and I half smile, leaning toward her.

"Yeah, that devil bunny just wanted to gossip to find out about us." I say softly and see that Jennie is holding back a smile.

"What is this story that you two slept together?" when I think everything is going well, she changes her mood again. What is this bipolarity?

"We just drank too much and I went to her house, but nothing happened. I just remember waking up with a bad hangover and in a room that wasn't mine."

"Why did you drink so much?" I look away from Jennie. Her look is too intense.

"Soojoo and I had a fight, I don't remember the reason and so I wanted to drink." I shrug, still not having the courage to face her and I hear her sigh heavily. After at least 10 minutes of total silence, I feel Jennie stir beside me and I'm about to look at her when she approaches me and sits on my lap, making me gasp "What are you doing?"

"You make me crazy with jealousy, why are all people so interested in you?" She rests her hands on my shoulders and pouts.

"Why am I Kim Jisoo?" I raise an eyebrow at her who rolls her eyes.

"I don't know why I still talk to you about it, honestly, you don't take me seriously, Jisoo."

"I thought I would go crazy with missing you, Jennie, those weeks were horrible. I got used to having you around and any distant time is torture." I say softly as I watch her open the most beautiful gummy smile of all and rest my hands on her cheeks "I don't know if I can be without you anymore."

"I hate the fact that you speak half a dozen cheesy and romantic words and manage to dissipate all the anger I was feeling." She gives me some light slaps, making me laugh.

"I hate the fact that I look at this mandu and feel that everything that matters in the world comes down to you." I lean my forehead against hers, caressing her soft, fluffy cheeks as I hear her laugh softly, making my heart beat faster.
