1/6 - Jennie Kim
Before I sprained my ankle, my life was so happy and I still complained, remember?
If in the past I thought of Jisoo once in a while during the day, from the day I left the hospital it's like she's been living in my mind, rent free.
I can still feel her body heat when she hugged me, I can still smell her on my clothes, but Lisa made sure to wash because if it were up to me, I wouldn't.
That was the closest and most real memory I'd had of Jisoo in years.
And here I'm. Sitting on a gurney, in a regular room, with no personal details or anything I can identify who belongs to, but I know it's not Jisoo's, there's no purple or blue details and she loves those colors. So it's impossible for this office to be hers.
I'm still trying to imagine what her office would be like when she walks through the door with a clipboard and writing something down.
Hair in a ponytail, that whole face perfect and exposed so I can try to memorize every detail that makes Jisoo so unique in the entire world. This time, her lab coat is open, revealing that she's wearing only an oil blue dress shirt and tight pale blue jeans. My gaze automatically drops to her legs. If I admired your thighs before, needless to say, I'm drooling now.
Medicine did more than good for her and she might as well teach me a few things about anatomy. Jennie??? Stop this! She would never be with you. I let out an annoyed sigh at the thought of it and Jisoo looks up from the clipboard, eyeing me with an arched brow.
"Is there some problem, Miss Kim?" there's something in your voice that I can't identify.
"Yes, I'll have to go by taxi and I hate hanging out with strangers." It's not a lie, but I can't say that I'm irritated that she doesn't want to give me some lessons.
"Huh, why?" she looks curious all of a sudden, I start to swing my legs dangling from the stretcher, since I can't reach the ground.
"Everyone is busy with something and no one can pick me up" I pout and see her biting her lower lip "It's horrible to depend on others."
"Don't worry, I'm sure you can solve your problem." She gives an amused smile and puts the clipboard beside me, unrolling the stethoscope as she approaches me. My heart feels like it's going to jump. "How have you been? Any pain or discomfort? Swelling? Are you following my recommendations?"
"I'm fine, I don't do anything all day, it's not like someone let me do something." I shrug "None of the usual pain, but I follow 85% of what you said."
"What is the other 15%?" She puts the stethoscope in her ear and stops in front of me, standing between my legs and leaning to hear my heartbeat. Damn, she'll find out.
"I, huh, I don't know, I'm not eating very well, I don't feel hungry or want to eat." I sigh when I realize that she's concentrating on listening to my breathing and I get lost enjoying the closeness between the two of us.
"On your next visit, we'll do some blood tests to see how your body is nourished." I see her watching my body and swallowing hard, I end up smiling with that.
"Of course, doctor, whatever you want." She arches her eyebrow at me and I end up letting out a low laugh.
"You're in a good mood." she smiles, for the first time, she's smiling at me. That day was all worth it.
"You say like a compliment" I roll my eyes "How are you? Doing a lot of crazy medical shifts?"
"Does anyone now know about a doctor's routine? Let me guess" she puts her finger to her chin and pouts pretending to think "Grey's Anatomy?"
"You caught me" I hold my hands up as if surrendering and she laughs "That's what I do in my free time."
"Everything is fine, I haven't done many shifts, at least in the last 5 days." When I realize, she's already taking off my orthopedic boot and I didn't even notice any movement, she was always good at distracting me "They want me well rested when it's close to your return date. Apparently, Yang is committed to your health." She laughs like it's a joke.
"What is so funny?" I watch her carefully remove the boot and pull the hem of my pants up.
"He acted like he cared about you. As if you weren't just a money factory for him." she looks irritated now and thoughtful later as she slides her toes on my foot. Her cool hand against my warm skin. "Duh, it's still swollen, Jen." I close my eyes when I hear the nickname, my heart melting.
"Is this a problem?" I say softly, hoping she doesn't pull away.
"I don't know, let's do this." she says while turning my foot as carefully as if I were made of glass "You'll see every day if the swelling is decreasing, if it remains the same or increases, you come back here before the next appointment."
"Why?" I'll fill her with silly questions to make her stay close to me.
"If it's not decreasing, we have a problem and we need to find out what it's." she writes something down on the clipboard and then pulls my pants down again. "I'll just put your boot on and you're free." She says with her back to me and I sigh.
"Okay."
"I remembered you have a problem, right?" she says after she finishes fastening my boot firmly.
"I had even forgotten about it." I brace my arms on the bed ready to jump when I see her hands resting on my thighs and a firm grip, igniting some kind of fire inside me. My eyes widen as I look up into those intense dark brown eyes.
"Don't jump, I don't want you to get hurt anymore. You're a magnet for this sort of thing." she gives me that crooked smile "If you can wait for 15 minutes, maybe I can give you a ride." her cheeks turn slightly pink. Chu adorable as always.
"What if I wait and you don't give me that ride?" I lift my chin defying her and she laughs. One more point for me. First a smile and now I got a laugh. Not bad, Jennie Kim. I mentally pat myself on the back, congratulating myself on this achievement.
"You'll have to wait to find out." She shrugs and moves away, taking the clipboard. "I'll just deliver this and get my things, I won't be long." She gives a slight nod before leaving.

Jisoo's car is big, comfortable and, best of all, it's filled with her scent. I know I look like a kid at an amusement park, but this day, which started out so bad, just keeps getting better.
If she looked amazing in the lab coat, without it she looks stunning. The dress shirt perfectly marks your chest and arms. Two buttons are open and I can peek at the top of the cleavage. If she's like this with this blouse, imagine without it? JENNIE KIM! Control your thoughts.
"We're here." she says after a while and I realize she's watching me. I look out of the window confused and look back at her "I got your address from the medical record, I remembered you're not good with directions." she smile.
"You were always the more agile of the two of us."
"The water bottles are proof of that." her smile gets bigger and more fun.
"Do you still do that???" I say surprised and she approaches me, making my heart stop beating.
"Ppoooooong!" She whispers and starts to laugh. I roll my eyes and slap her.
"Same idiot as always." I can't not laugh or smile when Jisoo is around. "Thanks, you saved me from having to walk with a stranger who could kidnap me and steal my organs." I open the door getting ready to get out of the car.
"Don't worry, if that happens, I'll buy your organs, so I'll have something yours with me." She laughs, but the real meaning behind those words hit me full on, leaving my face plastered with a stupid smile.
