I gasped sharply and let out a shrill scream as they plunged the dagger down into my chest. Pain ripped through me and my survival instincts caused me to struggle against my chains. I felt my the control of my body slip away and muscle spazzing cause my body to shake and fight long after I had lost my spark. I stared up at the ceiling as it went in and out of focus and couldn't help but feel this truly was the end. My whole body ached and stung as they moved around trying to coax the blood out of my veins. I felt the sharpened blade slice through the thin, delicate skin on the inside of my wrists and they grew warm. My whole body was beginning to feel warm for a reason my brain strained to find. My mind was fuzzy and I had to work to stay awake and clinging to life. The table beneath me grew warm as well and I began to realize as my body went cold that it was the life draining out of me.

James' POV
The scent of blood over flowed the small house. My hands clenched as I stared up at the red door from the freshly kept yard.
"She's gotta be here, her blood is all over the place." I said into the phone pressed to my right ear.
"I won't be there for a few more minutes but we can't waste time if you can smell her blood from outside things are bad, get in there right away." Daniel urged.
"K, gotta go." I said then hitting end button and cutting him off in the middle of his goodbye. I rushed up the creaking, wood steps and kicked the door in not even bothering to check if it was locked or not. Something about seeing it crack and go flying off into the darkness was oddly comforting, reminds me if what I'm going to do to Rem's face when I get a hold of him.
The smell was so strong as I stepped inside it was hard to concentrate. Rem must have fed before this other wise he would have drained her dry by now so he is probably stronger then me at the moment. I had to plug my nose to stay in control until I adjusted. I followed the scent trail through the house and ended up at a door in the back of the house where the smell was most concentrated. I opened the door with slow caution, expecting someone to run right out and fight me but instead I stared into lonely darkness. I followed the stone steps down into the bowels of the house and crouched as I reached the bottom and stepped in on some strange voodoo ritual.
Divya was tied down to a table with her hands above her head and she was soaked in her own blood. Next to her stood Rem staring down at her with a smug smile, reveling in his twisted achievement. Next to him stood a younger, blond version of him. 'Really? He had to bring Sam into this!?' I thought angrily. The scene was horrific and so fresh her blood was still warm. I heard her whimpering softly as she slowly descended into darkness, causing Rem looked at her thoughtfully for a moment. Then he decided he wasn't through with her and rose the knife again. Without thinking I lurked forward and tackled him. He let out a cry of surprise and the knife tumbled from his fingertips.
"Finish it!" He yelled to his brother as he pushed me off and we launched into a fight.
Sam looked conflicted and didn't know what to do.
"No! Go now Sam or I'll kill you too!" I snarled at him as I threw Rem into a wall, crumbling some of the stone. Sam looked between the fight and Divya but finally decided to follow the morals that had probably been nagging at the back of his mind this whole time and slipped out. Rem took a hard hit to the head and went down so I seized the moment to rush to Divya's aid. She had lost most of her blood and was barely hanging on now. I bit my wrist and feed her some blood to help strengthen her then started healing and closing her wounds. Her heart rate had only gained a little and I wasn't finished healing her before I was thrown off her and into a desk in the back corner of the room, crushing it under my weight. In an instant he was standing over me, lifting me into the air by my throat. I choked and struggled against his grip but was suddenly feeling weak. He smiled at me, a cruel and twisted smile. A smile I probably would have used looking into the eyes of another man a couple months ago but now it just made me sick.
