Before Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy can arrive at the new world called Pride Lands, Simba was having a nightmare about a wildebeest stampede and the death of his father, Mufasa. "Nooooo!" He gasped and knew that it was really a nightmare, then turned to see that his friends, Timon and Pumbaa, are still asleep. He then looked at the stars.
Elsewhere... Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy appeared in their animal forms at a bony place called The Elephant Graveyard. Sora and Hikari are in their lion forms, Donald in his hornbill form and Goofy in his tortoise form.
Sora looked at himself. "Hey! Check us out."
Hikari looked at herself. "Oh wow! I've got claws!"
"This place is kinda creepy, though," Sora said as he looked around.
"Uh-huh," Donald nodded.
"And bony too," Hikari said.

Suddenly, the four were surrounded by three hyenas named Shenzi, Banzai and Ed.
Sora looked around to see more hyenas. "Heartless?"
"I don't think they're Heartless," Hikari said to Sora.
"I dunno, you two," Goofy said. "I get the feelin' they might live here."
Donald looked at the hyenas. "Don't mind us! Just passing through. We won't be any trouble."
"Agreed," Hikari said. "Now move aside so we can get out of this creepy place."

Shenzi smirked at Hikari. "Don't be silly. We'd love you to stick around for lunch."
"Um...we didn't bring anything to eat," Hikari said nervously.
Banzai just chuckled. "That's not gonna be a problem!"
