chapter twelve.

"Her First Time."

After school Lilith chose to hang out and spend time with a small group of her friends that she hasn't hung out with since all the supernatural things had entered her life. She and her friends hung out with each other until the sun began to set, and since they had school the following day she said her goodbyes and left to go home. Knowing she'd be home alone, she took her time to leave; her mother would be working extra late, and texted both her daughters she wouldn't be back until the morning, and Lydia was going on a date with Jackson meaning Lilith will have the house to herself.

The dark sky was covered in clouds, making outside appear darker than it actually was. The roads were empty, with only a few cars driving past each other; their headlights filling the streets, them being the only thing stopping the road's from being pitch black dark. She had her window rolled down, with music playing from her ipod, allowing her to be in her own world, getting time to herself that she doesn't get often.

As Lilith drives down the road, out the corner of her eye she sees an outline of something limping. A shadow of a person. Pressing her foot on the breaks, she slows down and looks through the passenger side window trying to see if the person was hurt in any way. Seeing the person wear a familiar black leather jacket she quickly steps on her breaks, and switches her car into park. She immediately gets out of her car and jogs around to the other side where the person was at.

"Derek?" Lilith says, walking to the side of the road to help him.

Still struggling to walk, he looks up to see Lilith; a small smile of relief comes across his lips as she looks up at her. "Lilith. What are you doing?" Despite being hurt, he cares more for her safety than his.

"I was with my friend Harley and Anya, what are you doing? Are you okay?"

Lilith crouches down to help him up. She wraps her arm around his waist to help him stand up, but before they could stand up straight Derek let's put a loud wince as she accidentally pushes down on his chest where the alpha had just ripped through, leaving him there dead to go kill Stiles and Scott.

"What happened?" She frantically asks, looking down to see he's covered in blood, and now she was as well.

"Um... we went to the um-" Derek says, trying to get his mind in the right space, knowing he shouldn't tell her about Scott and Stiles at the school because she would go try to help them even if it risks her own life.

"Okay, it's fine. Shh, come on."

She looks at the road ahead of her, making sure it's empty before helping Derek to get to her car. She opens the passenger side door, and slowly helps him in; the second time in the past week that Lilith had had to help Derek, who's once again covered in blood and on the verge of death- just a different wound this time. A large wound. She quickly gets into the drivers side, and puts her car in drive before starting to head to her house, being as it was the closest to them and for once she'll be alone and won't have to worry about anyone seeing her and Derek.
