chapter ten.
"A Leather Jacket."

After receiving a call from Stiles, she quickly rushes out of her house and speeds to make it to the movie shop where everyone goes to rent their movies. Without caring enough to turn off her car, she gets out just to see a variety of cop cars, along with a fire truck, and ambulance; civilians crowd around the scene, wanting to push through to see what happened but gets held back by cops.

"Excuse me. Pardon me... can you get out of my way." Lilith quietly says to people as she walks through the crowd of people, needing to see if her sister is okay as she was involved in the attack.

"Ma'am, only first responders are allowed through." An officer says. He places his hand on Lilith's chest forcing her to stay behind the yellow tape with the rest of the crowd.

"No, it's fine. Sheriff Stilinski would be fine with it." Lilith says. She attempts to get out of the man's grip, standing on her tiptoes to see past everyone. Past all the deputies and cars her sister sits on the edge of an ambulance. She sits with her arms wrapped around herself, still in shock of what she had just witnessed while Jackson argues with Stiles' father. "Please, just let me through."

"I can't do that, I'm sorry." He continues to deny her.

"Sheriff!" Lilith yells. "Noah!" She continues to yell for Stiles' father. Hearing his name be called he turns away from Jackson to see her being held back by one of his deputies. "Please tell this pig to let me through!"

Stilinski looks at Lilith before turning to Lydia, now realizing she's the reason why Lilith was at the crime scene. Noah turns back to his deputy before giving him a small nod, telling him to allow Lilith through.

"She's fine!" Sheriff yells, nodding towards the unharmed yet shocked girl who's sitting in front of him. "Let her through."

"My apologies ma'am, I didn't know." He apologizes, he steps to the side now allowing Lilith to get past. He gives her an apologetic smile out of embarrassment, Lilith returning with a fake smile.

"Lydia?" Lilith yells. She runs towards her sister, not caring for anyone who was watching her or in her way.

"Lilith?" Lydia says. She looks up and around her surroundings for a moment before Lilith catches her eye; not expecting to see Lilith there, coming to see if her sister is okay.

"Are you okay?" Lilith asks, she places her hands on Lydia cheeks and looks her in her eyes. "What happened?" She looks at her sister, then to her bestfriends father; though Stiles had called her telling her something had happened, he himself didn't know the full story, leaving her half clueless. All she knew was that her sister was involved in some kind of attack, and she could've been severely harmed. Stiles had told her everything he had seen and heard, but it wasn't enough to tell if Lydia was okay.
