chapter eighteen.
"Gone Missing. "

"Call it again!" Scott exclaims.

He walks through his room, flipping everything upside down and out of place. He destroys his room in an attempt to find his phone that he hasn't seen since he and Derek had gotten shot at, at the Hale House only a few nights ago. Stiles sits in a chair that he had placed in the doorframe, while Lilith lays on the ground, her body halfway under Stiles' seat.

"Scott, I've called it five times already, it's not in your room." Lilith says. She softly drops her head on the rug that was under her body, her chest on the ground as she watched Scott go crazy, needing to find his phone.

"So what, you lost your phone? Why don't you just get a new one." Stiles asks. He leans forward in the chair he was seated in, making sure to not hurt Lilith in the process.

"I can't afford a new one."

"I'll buy you a new one. '' Lilith offers Scott.

"What? No, I won't let you spend that much money on me."

"I'm buying you a new phone, you don't have a say in this."

"I swear to God, if you buy me a new phone I'll get the money back and give it back to you." Scott pauses, as he runs his hands through his floppy hair. "Can we please get back to our original topic!"

"Which is?" They ask. Both Stiles and Lilith not knowing what the original topic was since Scott wouldn't tell them.

"I can't do this alone, we have to find Derek!"

"Well A: you're not alone, you have us. And B: didn't you say Derek walked into gun fire? He sounds pretty dead."

"Then again, he got stabbed in the chest by his own uncle, and somehow survived that, so he's most likely not dead."

"She's right, he's not dead." Scott says. "The Argents plan was to use him to get to the alpha. They're not going to kill him." Scott speaks as he walks out of his room and into his attached bathroom.

He continues his search into that new area. He checks everywhere his phone could possibly be, deep down inside knowing it was nowhere in his house. His drawers. The cabinets. Even in the toilet bowl. It must've been at Derek's house still.

"All right, so then you just let them do what they're planning, you know? They use Derek to get Peter, problem solved!"

"No, they could be torturing him right now, and I'd much rather not have that happening to him, thank you very much." Lilith says. She lifts her foot and kicks the back of Stiles' chair making him almost fall off it.

"Peter will be going after Allison to find Derek, and once he realizes she doesn't know where he's at he'll go after Lilith. I can't protect both of them on my own! Which means we need to find Derek first. We all know he would literally die for Lilith, that's why we need him. Just... just help me."
