chapter two.
"The New Girl."

"As you all know, there indeed was a body found in the woods last night." Scott turns his head to look at Stiles and Lilith, who both send knowing smiles to their friend. Scott had watched his friends move their gaze off him, and on to one another; he always hoped the two oblivious friends would realize the way one looked at the other, but they never had. "And I am sure your eager little minds are coming up with various macabre scenarios for what happened. But I am here to tell you that the police have a suspect in custody." Once again Scott turns to face Stiles and Lilith, all three confused as to what their teacher was talking about, neither of them knowing of what he said was true or not. "Which means, you can give your undivided attention to the syllabus on your desk."

Lilith sighs as she leans back in her chair, reading over the syllabus. Scott stole a look around the room before his thoughts got cut off by the sound of a phone ringing, coming all the way from outside the school; where a girl sits digging through her bag talking to her mother through the phone. Feeling her phone buzz in her pocket, Lilith looks around the classroom for a moment making sure the teachers eyes weren't on her before pulling her phone out to check who had texted her.

Buzz-cut boy: Hey, what'cha doin'?

A small smile spreads across the girl's lips as she looks up from her phone, and turns to her left where Stiles sits with his head in his hand, his phone resting on his desk. The pair make eye contact for a moment, Stiles winking making Lilith slightly flustered; causing her to be the first to turn away from looking into each other's eyes.

Lilith: Why are you texting me, when you're sitting right next to me?

Buzz-cut boy: Cause the class is too quiet. If I dropped a needle everyone would hear it; so I have to text you since I miss you.

Lilith: Oh, how sweet of you.

Buzz-cut boy: Well, I am a sweetheart aren't I.

Lilith: Yes, you are. And that's what I love about you.

Reading the text Lilith had sent to Stiles the pair look up from their phones, and turn to one another. Lilith puckers her lips, and quietly blows him a kiss; to which he catches and places it on his cheek before returning a kiss sent through the air.

Buzz-cut boy: Love you Lil <3.

Lilith quickly shoves her phone into her pocket as the classroom door opens. She looks up to see the vice principal walk in with a girl awkwardly following behind him. The girl was beautiful to say the least. Lilith glanced over to her two friends, just to see Scott looking at the girl in awe. "Class, this is our new student, Allison Argent. Please do your best to make her feel welcomed." The vice principal gives the class a small nod before leaving the girls to stand alone in front of the class.
