chapter six.
"A Kiss She Wasn't Supposed To See."

All the lacrosse players sit on the bench preparing themselves for the first game of the year- a game that everyone knows is a huge deal. Winning the first lacrosse game of the year shows the other teams how good your team is; it tells them to be scared when they play against your team. The members mentally and physically prepare themselves by pep talking one another and fixing their padding, and helmets. Everyone who sits in the stands waves to anyone they're there to watch; Lydia and Allison seeing Lilith, calling her over before the game starts.

With a blush smile on her face, "You better score at least one point, I'm rooting for you." Allison says to Lilith, her voice barely above a whisper.

She tilts her head, giving her a look. "Are you sure you're not here for Scotty boy?" Lilith asks

"I'm here for you, and he just so happens to be on the same team as you."

Allisons words gets cut off by Coach blowing his whistle, telling all his players to huddle over; Lilith says a small goodbye and gives each of the girls a small kiss on the cheek before jogging to her team, meeting them in a pile of players, while Stiles sits on the bench scared for tonight, as Derek had warned Scott to not play the game- saying it'll be best if he doesn't; yet Scott was still choosing to play still.

"Please, let this be okay. Please." Scott mumbles to himself as Lilith walks past.

She reaches forward and grabs his shoulder, pulling his attention to her. "Hey." She softly speaks to him, "You'll be fine, everything will be fine. I promise. Besides, if anything happens just run off the field, no one will be mad at you."

"Coach will."

"And I'll talk to him, just don't hurt yourself, or me... or anyone." Lilith gives Scott a sympathetic smile before putting her helmet on, and going to her starting place.

Once both the teams players were in their places the referee places the ball on to the ground in between the boys, and blows his whistle making the game begin. The ball goes from player to player. Jackson being the first player to make a point for his team, which led the whole crowd to go wild. Parents and student in the stands cheer, and hold up signs for the players whom they are there to watch; Lydia and Allison included in the small bunch. The two girls hold up a big home-made sign rooting for Jackson- Lydia forcing Allison to do so, when she'd rather root for Scott, Lilith, or Stiles who's on the bench.

Score after score, players score points for the team. A total of 8 points were scored halfway through the game. 3 for home, and 5 for the guest. The teams were getting restless and wanted the game to be over. Just as the crowd started to lose hope, the ball goes flying through the air - Scott being the one to catch it - he jumps into the air, using someone from the opposite team as a boost, Scott catches the ball and runs down the field to make another goal for his team.
