Description: Y/n decides to spend Halloween weekend with some friends in a cabin, she quickly realizes that time has run out.

"Thanks again for watching the house for me while I'm away this weekend."

"No problem y/n, you enjoy this time away and relax. I know you've been super busy lately so you deserve this."

"I've always wanted to celebrate Halloween this way so I'm happy I finally have that chance. I'll see you on Monday."

"Okay bye."

Ending the call I pocket my phone and look out the window of my best friend's car. We were nearly to the cabin we rented for the Halloween weekend. Since none of us wanted to host the parties at our own place we decided on just leaving town to celebrate.

"Everything okay with your neighbor?"

"Mhm just wanted to thank her and see if anything interesting came in the mail yet. How much longer?"

"Five minutes we'll see the check in center, get our key and continue down the road to our cabin."

"I'm so excited for this!"

I smile, sipping my can of coke and adjusting my hoodie. Chatting with my friend about the decorating, we soon pulled up to the check in center. Filling out all the paperwork we get our key and drive to our cabin.
We had a bunch of forest behind us and some trees on the side, it looked so beautiful with the autumn leaves. A fire pit sits off to one side and farther down the backyard was a path that would eventually lead to the lake.

"This looks so cool, let's get inside before we get too chilly."

I say, taking a few pictures on my phone. Getting out we gather our bags and the decorations then head inside.

"Woah this is so cool! When is everyone else getting here?"

"Around eight, then we'll chill and party a little. Maybe watch a movie or something just to get in the Halloween spirit. After all it is Halloween Eve."

"Well, since we're here let's pick our rooms and start decorating."

Since we rented the cabin we got the two master bedrooms. Setting my bag down I quickly change into a pair of black leggings and a Halloween sweater. Grabbing the box of decorations I play some music from my phone as we start putting things up and getting stuff out for the party. After all, people would be showing up soon.

By the time everything was ready a majority of our friends had arrived.

"Hey y/n there's someone I want you to meet. I asked y/bffs/n if it was okay and she said yeah."

Looking at our friend Kate I wipe my hands on a napkin and turn my attention to her.

"This is my friend Finn. He was alone for Halloween and so I figured to invite him. He moved in across from me. What about five months ago?"

Kate asks and the man beside her nods his head, sticking his hand out and smiling.

"It's a pleasure to meet you y/n."

"Hello Finn, it's a pleasure to meet you as well. I hope you have fun and maybe make some more friends."

I smiled while shaking his hand, he was absolutely gorgeous if I'm being honest. He had a sort of rugged look to him with beautiful blue eyes and an Irish accent.
