Everything Has Changed(Short Part 1)

Description: With Fergal traveling on Raw all the time and you on Smackdown you don't get to spend much time together. It gets worse when he tags with Sasha for the Mix Match Challenges leaving you with no time together. Finally confronting him you admit nothing feels the same anymore. -Angst

"Fergal meet me at the center so we can work on our mix match moves."

"Sure thing Sasha."

Sighing (y/n) listens as her boyfriend speaks to Sasha about their practicing. You two were suppose to spend your only day off together but instead he was planning on running out on you. It had been like this for months and frankly you were getting tired of it.

"Babe can we talk?"

"Can't it wait love I'm suppose to meet Sasha."

"No Fergal it can not."

"This sounds serious."

"Yes it is."

(Y/n) waits for him to take a seat before pacing she wanted to be sure she got everything out right.

"Why are you ditching me to work out with Sasha?"

"What?"

"Why are you ditching me for her?"

"I'm not."

"We've had plans for the last three weeks to spend today off together. I hardly ever see you anymore with us being on different brands. It's gotten even worse since you two became tag partners everything has changed between us."

"No it hasn't."

"When was the last time we spoke for more then five minutes on the phone? When was the last time we said I love you instead of love ya bye?"

(Y/n) paces quicker trying to keep the tears at bay as she thought back over the past few months.

"So we have to work on us a little more we can do that easily."

"We've been trying to get things better for months I've seen your parents on FaceTime more than I have you."

"Really?"

"Yes I miss you so much everything keeps switching we never see each other and this tag team seems to make it worse. I love Sasha don't get me wrong but I'm tired of people stealing my boyfriend."

"I know it's hard right now love but it'll get better."

"If it doesn't? How long are we going to keep pretending that we're happy with how things are?"

"You might be but I'm not."

"So what do you want to do? Talk to Hunter about taking a few days off?"

"Do you honestly believe that will help? We may reconnect for the time away but when we come back it will go right back to the way it is now."

Standing in front of him Fergal stand quickly his heart racing in his chest.

"Please tell me you aren't about to suggest what I think you are. Please baby we can figure something out I can't lose you."

"I'm sorry Fergal but I think you already have we need a break you go and do what you do best for Raw. I'll do what I do on Smackdown I don't want any hard feelings but we need time to think."

Tears streaming down their faces Fergal pulls (y/n) into his chest burying his face in her neck. They quitely cry over their lost relationship, the lost love and romance they once shared. Life wasn't always happy endings and rainbows sometimes you have to do the hardest things for the best. Pulling away Fergal wipes the tear tracks falling down her cheeks as she does the same for him.

"I'm gonna go see Becky go ahead and practice with Sasha okay?"

Fergal nods walking with her to the door both their hearts breaking at the thought of it all being over. Sometimes you don't realize what you have until it's gone.

"I still love you (y/n)."

"I know you do Fergal I love you too I always will."

Watching as she walks down the hall Fergal sends a text to Sasha that he wouldn't be able to show up right now. He just needed to to accept the fact that his whole world just walked away.
