It's Gonna Be Okay

Description: You and Fergal get in a fight over not spending much time together when you finally lose it he comforts you. -Angst, Fluff

Rolling over you look confused seeing Fergal packing his suitcase laying there you watch as he walks around your room on the phone.

"Yeah I know Colby I'm sorry but Hunter asked me to go in early to do some promo."

"What?"

You silently mouth to yourself not knowing that your boyfriend was planning on leaving before his week break was over. Listening to the muffled talking as Fergal tries consoling your friend making your way into the bathroom you get a shower and brush your teeth. Once dressed you walk back out seeing Fergal folding a shirt spotting you in the doorway he smiles.

"Good morning love how'd you sleep?"

"Good morning I slept good you?"

"Just fine."

"Is Colby okay?"

"He's a bit pissed that I have to reschedule our hike because Hunter wants me to go in for some promo."

"Are you serious can't you just tell Hunter you need a few days? We both know how much he's been looking forward to spending time with us since summer started."

"I can't it's only until my next break then the three of us will go on a big hike but if you want you two can still go."

"The whole point of the hike was for both of us to spend time with you Colby and I have already spent time together since he's been out due to his elbow."

"Baby ya know if I could stay I would but it's not possible."

"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving early?"

"I just found out last night after you fell asleep I leave tomorrow morning."

"Tomorrow?! You've only been home for three days why can't it wait till your scheduled to go back?"

"If I knew that I would tell you."

"You're never home for more than two or three days and it's getting a bit ridiculous you need more time to rest." 

"I know I know but this is my job it's not like I can just do as I please you should understand you've never had a problem with me having to leave early before why now?"

"Because I miss you I want my boyfriend back I hardly see you and the constant distance sucks I know your friends miss you too. Just because I never said anything before doesn't mean I didn't have a problem with it."

"Trust me love I miss you too but I can't do anything about that it's part of the contract I try to split my time between you the best I can."

"It's not enough tho I want you more than a few days every couple of weeks."

"What do you want me to do (y/n)? I can't just call Hunter or Vince up and say sorry I'm not going to make it in. My ass will be outta the company quicker than you or I could blink traveling is part of being a wrestler and performing. Where is all this anger suddenly coming from?"

Fergal asks throwing his hands up in the air frustration evident on his face as you two stand across from each other running a hand through your hair you shrug.

"I don't know I just want you I hate sleeping alone I hate not waking up to you holding me with your face nuzzled in my neck. I hardly see you and when I do you're in pain or too tired to move around. I hate that I have to wait for hours to have a call returned and I hate how I feel like I'm losing you."

You say sitting on the edge of your bed covering your face with your hands you loved Fergal more than anything and not having him around was hard. You knew he couldn't help the hours he worked it was just you missed him and there wasn't anything you could do to help it.

"That's what this is about you thinking you're losing me?"

He asks you wipe at the tears falling on your pants you feel the bed dip as Fergal sits down pulling you into his lap. Rubbing your back you sit quietly him pressing an occasional kiss to your hair as he waits for you to calm down.

"Can ya look at me love?"

Glancing up he wipes your face with his fingers drying your cheeks kissing your forehead he tightens his arms around you.

"No matter how many times I have to leave early no matter how many weeks we spend apart you are not going to lose me it's gonna be okay. I love you so much and I don't plan on letting ya outta my life you can't get rid of me that easily. When I see Hunter I'll talk to him about taking two weeks off and let him know under no circumstances can I be called in early they'll just have to wait."

"I don't wanna seem selfish I know your career is important to you I love you and just wanna see you a little more."

"Wanting to see me is not selfish don't ever think that when I have the two weeks off you myself and Colby will go on the biggest hike you two have ever been on. We'll spend a few days visiting friends than just the two of us will go wherever your heart desires."

"Can we visit your family for a few days then go somewhere with a beach?"

"If that's what you want then yes we can."

He smiles resting his forehead against yours you sit content for a few minutes before Fergal presses a kiss to your lips carrying you downstairs to spend the whole day curled up together on the couch playing with his legos and watching movies.
