Letter From The Road

Description: Letter from Finn to his sick girl back home while he's touring.

Dear Princess,
Hello, my love, I wanted to write you a letter because I know you haven't been feeling well lately. :( I'm sorry I'm not there to help take care of you and nurse you back to health. But I do have everything you'll need to do. I'll write it in a small list because I don't want you to forget you need to get healthy again.

Make sure that you drink plenty of water, stay hydrated.
Eat light things so you at least have a little something on your tummy.
Sleep sleep sleep, I'll call and talk to your boss about giving you a few days off. You need to rest as much as you can.
Take one of my shirts and hoodies, place them in the dryer to warm them up a little, and wear them to help you sleep.
Take your medicine as directed. I don't care if it tastes gross, you need it to help you feel better.
Try not to overtire yourself while doing stuff that just makes getting better harder.
FaceTime or call me every night so you can heal.

I'll make sure to call you as often as I can before I go to sleep at night to check up on you. Maybe I'll even talk to Vince about taking a day or two off so I can come be with you. I don't want you going through this alone. I'll make you a fort and we'll get all cozy under it together. I can't wait to hold you again. I miss you so much.

Only a few more weeks and then I'll be home! We'll be able to get everything we still need so we can go on our vacation. Damn, I can't wait to have some time off, I'm ready for a break honestly.

Just you, me and a week in Greece. Maybe we'll spend most of the time naked on the private beach ;)

That's going to be a useful thing for the Polaroid so I'm going to pack that for sure.

I think the thing I'm most excited about is holding you when I fall asleep (obviously in general) but that's something I really miss. Holding you while we sleep.

I love you so much mo grá, thank you for loving me and showing me just how wonderful life can be. You mean the world to me. Get well soon baby I'll be home as soon as I can.
