Luey Loo's POV

"Welcome folks, to the 500th Annual Hunger Games! It's bound to be a exciting year this year, with the Quarter Quell and all! Not one you're going to want to miss, that's for sure! Oh look-our tributes are starting to come out! Let's take a look over there shall we?

Up first is District 1. District 1 always has a strong Opening Ceremony. Being the wealthiest district does have its perks! Here they come.....wow! Look at that! The duo look absolutely divine this year! Although that young man certainly has a...unique look. Artfully messy. Well, it certainly works for him eh?

Next is District 2. They look strong and confident. We could very well be looking at our future victors right here! They just have power radiating from them! And the fact that they are both extremely good looking helps immensely. I'd sponsor them!

District 3 rolls into the streets, and...wow!!!! That is stunning!!! I must say, usually District 3 doesn't have a great costume, but their stylists certainly outdid themselves this year!!! Wait...what is that! A hologram!!!! It's speaking.....shush I want to hear....

'The Capitol has a hunger for the brutal killings of other beings. With me, I'll make sure it's brutal. But not for you, for me. I want to satisfy my hunger for what I lost. You took everything from me. If I make it out alive, I will take everything from you.'

Well I never! That child has nerve! I-I-I.....Lets move on.

Up next is District 4. Oh.....those costumes just aren't working for them. But to be fair, I don't think anybody could pull off orange fish scales.....those tributes look absolutely miserable....not a great effort from 4 this year. Oh well! They still have the interviews!

District 5 is coming out, and I must say they look stunning! But predictable. Very predictable. Silver has been done to death! And lightning is just....scary! They do look good though, so points must be given.

Next is District 6. Oh man!!! We've got a good looking duo from 6 this year. Pity that only one of them can survive! Their costumes are different then normal years, although I don't see how they have to do with transportation....oh wait....there's trains stitched into their cloths. There we go.

Moving on is District 7. It can be hit or miss when it comes to the costumes. This year....it's definitely a miss. They are easily the plainest set of tributes yet. Even fish boy was more appealing! The only redeemable factor is their silver crowns. Ooh! Sparkles!!!!! Luey likey.......
Oh....sorry. Moving on...

District 8 rolls out in a blaze of glory. They look confident and excited. You can't help but stare as they go by! They do look incredible, although a tad too plain for my taste. But the crowd loves it, so I guess it's ok.

Up next is District 9. All I can say is wow!!!! They look incredible! Shy maybe, but incredible!!!! Who knew that District 9 had anything left to give!? After a performance like this, I can't wait to see them in the arena! Could District 9 have its first victor in 100 years? Maybe. I guess we'll have to wait and see! I can't wait!

After District 9, comes District 10. Not original, but very effective! They look fantastic!!! Look at that blue hat! I'd wear that in a heartbeat! And that girl is rocking that plaid shirt!!! Overall a very good performance from District 10!

Next up is District 11! Oh...they don't look happy to be here. C'mon! Show some pep! Nope....nothing. It's a pity-for District 11, they actually look almost good! Dressed in vines-they could pull it off. If they smiled once or twice. Oh well, moving on.

Last, but certainly not least is District 12! They come out and.....what? What are they wearing???? I'm getting a report in right now....apparently the duo took over their wardrobe and kicked out their stylist. How old are these kids again? Are you sure they're from District 12? A pair of fighters....this is going to be interesting!

All 24 tributes are now gathered in front of the Training Centre! Since its a Quarter Quell, the Training Centre has been remodelled! Instead of 12 floors....there is only one!!! All the tributes will be living together. This could be a great opportunity to create friends, or a death sentence to those who make the wrong enemies.

It certainly has been one crazy night. I can tell you one thing for sure....this will be a Hunger Games that nobody will ever forget!!!!
This is Luey Loo, your Capitol reporter, saying goodnight Panem!
