I run quickly towards the town square. I'm late for the Reaping, and a Peacekeeper got onto me as I was walking down the streets. Now I'm just hoping he doesn't punish me once I'm there. I use my final burst of speed just as the girls name is being read.
"Sophia Waters!"
I can't believe it. Is this my punishment for being late to the Reaping?
I walk slowly up to the stage, all eyes on me.
