One morning when I woke up the door was wide open, I got up completely fuzzled and walked out "Cam?" I haven't seen him since that day. I slowly walk up the stairs, I open the basement door to a clean house everything was still there as I walk around I noticed pictures of us were missing from their frames, guess he took them out, I'm kind of glad, I don't have to see his face and remember what he did, but it's a little too late his perfectly chiseled face is engraved in my mind and I can't stop thinking about Mason and Poki, What did he do to Emily? As I walk towards the dining room I spot a note next to some other stuff, I go over to it see the note was on top of some stapled papers, next to it was my phone and an envelope, I decided to read the handwritten note first.

Dear Eric, I love you so much, but I know you hate me, I killed your best friend and I hurt you more times than I can count, just so you're caught up Mason was announced missing yesterday, Friday, everyone is for him. And Tobi has been worried about you, I think she might know or at least is suspicious of me.

Eric, I'm giving you some options, I've given the house to you since I'm moving back to New Zealand, I will be paying the bills for it, or you could take one of the plane tickets and maybe someday if the world wants us to, we could see each other again, but if you don't either you could just take the keys in the garage and go back to your apartment.

I completely understand if you want to leave. I'm so sorry but I know there's nothing I can say or do to make you forgive me, just know I will never forget you.

P.S the keys to the house are in the door.

I looked at the paperwork for the house. It was under my name, never in my life I thought I would own a house like this, should I take it? I flip the note around and see something else "I left something for you upstairs" I'll go upstairs after I open the envelope, I pick it up and open it, it was the planes tickets, one to New Zealand and one to America along with 2000 AUD, why does he always have to give me money? I grab my phone and immediately see all of the pictures we had together were gone and all the pictures from my socials were taken down.

I decided to text Tobi since she was worried.

Eric: Hey Tobi

Tobi: Omg I was so worried about you! Where have you been?

Tobi: are you ok?

Eric: Yeah I'm fine just wanted some time to myself

Tobi: oh... yeah I saw your Instagram.

Tobi: I'm guessing you guys broke up...

Eric: Yeah we did... He let me stay in the house since he moved somewhere else.

Tobi: I'm so sorry, you must be so miserable.

Eric: It's whatever I guess

Eric: But I just heard about Mason, have you guys found him yet?

Tobi: no...:(

Tobi: he left the house angry and didn't even tell me where he was going...

Eric: holy shit, I hope he's just at his parents' house.

Tobi: he's not.

Tobi: His mother and brother have been crying trying to find him with his dad, he's nowhere to be found.

Jesus, should I just tell Tobi? No, I can't. She'll hate me.
