3rd Person's POV
Keisuke stood on their front door as he eyed the two people soaking wet from the rain. Panicking slightly when Y/N suddenly sneezed, calling Hideo's name as the latter rushed towards them.
"What's happening here?" asking the boy who pointed his index finger at his sister who is just looking at the both of them blankly.
"Did the two of you swim on the swamp!?" Keisuke shouted, holding both of her shoulders as he shook her abruptly.
"Can we go in now? It's cold out here" mumbling under her lips as Keisuke sighed, turning his head to Kazutora who is currently roaming his eyes at their house.
"Did you and Y/N have a fight? Did you hit her?" questioning him as soon as he saw the bruises on his face and arms.
"We did not, let him go inside then give him some ice pack for his bruises, please" after hearing her sudden request, Keisuke dashed out of the scene to get an ice pack in their kitchen.
"Uncle, do you have some first aid kit out there?" she asked, looking up at the man who was towering over her as Hideo nodded while smiling. He looked over her side as he stared at the boy who was looking down while making his way inside their house.
"Lift your head up, there's no need for you to lower your head" he smiled, patting the boy's head as he put a towel on him.
"You brought an umbrella with you, yet you still came home bathing from the rain?" Keisuke interrogated his sister, holding his head as if it was aching as he looked over at Kazutora who was being tended by Hideo.
"I will not get sick, don't worry" answering him as she dried her hair.
"You always say that, then later you'll burn from a fever" he complained.
"You do the same though" she bickered, finally looking at him as he grinned.
"I have great stamina, unlike you whose body is almost made of glass" he muttered as he patted her head.
"I won't argue with you anymore, just don't do it again" his voice was warm, embracing Y/N from within.
"Oh shut up, this is the fourth time that you said that for this week" she laughed as Keisuke looked away, suddenly being bashful from his acts.
"You always worry me to death that's why I keep on reminding you" he sulked as Y/N didn't even think of stopping her laughs.
Hideo and Kazutora watched the two with a fond smile on their faces. The siblings' argument seems to lighten up the mood inside the house.
"This is a rare sight of those two" Hideo mumbled, still tending his wounds on arms.
"It's always so quiet here, thank you for bringing her here soaking from the rain" he chuckled as Kazutora did the same.
"Where did you get these though? Y/N didn't do this right?" he asked, eyeing the dark colored bruises and fresh wounds on his body.
"My father…" he started as Hideo saw how his body trembled from either coldness or fear.
"I'm sorry for asking. Do you want to stay overnight here?" the older asked, worrying for his condition as the boy shook his head.
"My mom, she is still in our house" he whispered as Hideo stood up, pulling his phone from his pocket.
"Do you know what your mother's number is?" he asked, not removing his eyes from the thing he was holding. Kazutora nodded his head as Hideo lent his phone to him to type his mother's number. Stroding slightly away from the boy as he made a call, waiting for the other person to answer it.
Hideo conversed with his mother for a while as Kazutora just watched all of it. The older saw how Kazutora's expression changed from scared to worried, he smiled indicating that everything is alright as the boy did the same. Not long after Hideo made the call, a sudden knock on their door enveloped their ears as they all turned to look at each other, not knowing who it might be.
The oldest made his way towards it as he twisted the knob, meeting the woman's worried face, travelling her eyes around as it landed on Kazutora.
"Tora.." she muttered, spreading both of her arms as Kazutora ran towards her.
Y/N watched from the side with envy. Her irises were slightly diluted as it didn't even blink. Keisuke's orbs were glued to her as he watched her clenched on the damp towel she used. The girl never experienced parental love neither from her father or mother throughout her childhood so Keisuke understands what she was feeling. Meiko, Hideo, Ayato and Hiroki were the only people who treated her like their own child, but to her eyes, they only cared for her because they had to.
"Are you okay?" Keisuke asked, letting his hand land on her shoulder as she blinked for a few times before nodding her head. Not long after having that reaction, a man suddenly barged into the slightly opened door of their house, huffing and drenched with sweat and rain.
The newly arrived man's eyes landed on both Kazutora and his mother's figure as they both trembled with fear. Kazutora's mother hid him behind her back as she faced the man.
"We are going home" he demanded as Hideo blocked the two.
"Excuse me sir, don't force them if they don't want to go" he said, preventing the man's hand from landing on either Kazutora or his mother.
The two other kids watched from afar, Keisuke's eyes were focused on Hideo and the man, waiting if he was going to hit his uncle or not; while Y/N was fixated on Kazutora's trembling figure. She remembered everything that he said earlier when they were both bathing themselves in the rain.
Kazutora's father was clearly different from Kenji, but in some perspectives and characteristics; they are. She cannot stand watching Kazutora to stay outside while rain was pouring, she cannot watch him bottle up his emotions like that again just because of his father.
"You are not in your place to butt in someone's business" the man's voice rang throughout the house as he shouted, his grip on Hideo's arm started to tighten.
"You are also not in your place to engage in assault, sir" that voice made them stop as they all turned their heads toward Y/N who was just looking at the man sternly.
"Domestic violence, trespassing, and assault" she mumbled, still not removing her eyes from him.
"If we file those cases, you are done, mister" she muttered. Keisuke stared at her with wide eyes. He knows that his sister has knowledge on other fields but he didn't know she has this.
"Y/N, what are you doing?" Keisuke asked in a whispering manner, nudging her sides as she turned to look at him.
"Do you not trust me?" she asked, tapping her foot as she waited for Keisuke's answer.
"This will work, just have some faith in me, will you?" she smirked as Keisuke gulped his spirit, praying that things will not go sideways.
"What do you know about law, huh? They are my family, I have the right to do what I want to do with them" he answered with a proud and prideful expression on his face.
"Is it because I look young to you? It doesn't really mean I know nothing. You clearly have no rights to do something towards them, you are clearly abusing them" she muttered, not breaking the intense debate between them.
"Just because you are her husband, and you are his father, it doesn't mean that it is a valid reason to beat them up without any thought" she added as the man's face started to become red, indicating his anger has reached its limit.
"Listen here, your knowledge about law or any other things will not break my authority to the two of them" he mumbled, slowly walking towards the door Y/N followed her with her eyes, smiling sheepishly as she waved her hands at him.
"Okay"
