A week later Lili left New York to go visit her mama for a few days before having to go back to LA for meetings with the Dickinson team to talk all things season two.
"So baby, tell me why you're here," Becca stirred honey into her tea from the counter while Lili sat at the dark wood dining room table she grew up at.
"Can't I just come see my mama?" Lili smiled.
"You can but I know you better than that," Becca chuckled carrying the two mugs to the table, placing one in front of Lili as she took a seat next to her.
"Uhm," Lili played with tea bag in the cup in front of her, "He broke up with me"
"Oh I'm going to beat that boys ass," Becca held up her fist, making Lili chuckle knowing she'd actually do it if he was around.
One time when Becca had come to visit Lili while she was at school Drew showed up to dinner high and her Mama gave him a very stern talking to, he didn't smoke for months after that.
"No need, Mama," Lili's eyes were still on her tea, "It was the distance and our opposing schedules, it was too hard"
"Has nothing to do with those photos of you and that ex of yours?" Becca raised her brow.
