It had been about a week since the premiere. Lili was doing her best to forget about what happen with Drew but it was hard, the moment still lingered.
"Lili?" someone said behind her as she waited for her coffee.
She turned around, "Matt?"
She hadn't seen him in months, probably the last time she saw him was her last day at the restaurant.
"Hi! How are you?" he smiled, initiating a hug that Lili accepted.
"I'm good, how are you?" she asked taking a step back.
"I'm good, I saw your show, it's amazing," he smiled.
"Thanks," she smiled.
"Uhm do you wanna get dinner sometime? Catch up?" he offered.
The barista called out Lili's name.
"Uhm, yeah, text me," she smiled slowly walking to pick up her drink, "I have a meeting to get to but, I'll see you"
"I'll text you!" Matt called after her.
Lili rushed off to a meeting with her manager about what to do next with her career since the show was doing pretty well. And she honestly had a little extra pep in her step from it.
"Okay so Fallon has an opening the week of Christmas for you, it would be that Monday," Scott explained after they had been talking for a while, finally wrapping the meeting up with talking about scheduling.
"I'm supposed to be in Tennessee though, with Mama," Lili looked at Scott, a little worried.
"You'll still be able to make it but just after, going on Fallon will be huge for you," Scott sounded like he was trying to persuade her.
"Okay, just as long as I'm home right after," she knew he was right.
"I also just got you into four auditions this week, two of them are friends of mine that asked for you," Scott smiled, "One of them is for an animated film though, I wasn't sure how you felt about that?"
"I'm happy to do voice work," Lili smiled, honestly just happy to be working.
"Okay, oh and that magazine cover you shoot should be coming out right before the new year," Scott hummed looking down at his notes.
"Did they send over any photos?" Lili asked getting excited.
"Uhm," Scott moved his focus to his computer screen as he scrolled, "Here we go," he turned the screen to face Lili, who leaned forward.
"Oh my...oh my god," she said in shock, scrolling through the photos, Scott's computer was a touch screen, "Do you know which one's gonna be the cover?"
"I don't, but that'll be a fun surprise," he smiled, "That's all I've got for you right now though, I'll have Amelia email you with the audition information"
"Thank you," Lili smiled standing up.
"I'm proud of you Lili," Scott smiled as they shook hands.
