Later that evening Lili stood in front of her mirror, wearing tailored black suit like shorts with a matching oversized blazer that was left open to show the white lace corset top she had on under neither. Her hair was pulled back into a slick low ponytail, her make up was simple but glowy, the whole outfit was topped off by the big pearls that hung from little silver hoops on her ears and the simple black heels she had on.
"You look cute!" Sienna smiled walking into the brunettes bathroom.
"You don't think the earrings are too much?" Lili asked, this was her first public event in weeks, and she was nervous.
"Ask Jaz, I don't know," Sienna shrugged. Sienna was oblivious when it came to anything fashion, it all confused her.
"Let me guess, she dressed you," Lili teased turning to face Sienna.
She had on red silk pants and a sheer black fishnet top with a tank top under neither, her favorite black boots on her feet, layered necklaces around her neck.
"How could you tell?" Sienna smiled sarcastically.
"Because you would never willingly wear that much jewelry," Lili pointed at her neck. Sienna barley wore anything beside t-shirts and jeans, so jewelry was defiantly a no go.
"She said they looked cool," Sienna shrugged with a small smile.
"You love her," Lili teased, poking the girls arm as she walked past her. Sienna blushed behind her.
The girls got into Sienna's car a few minutes later and headed over to Jaz's apartment.
"Lili!" Jaz smiled when's she opened the door.
"Hi!" Lili squealed as they hugged.
"I've missed you," Jaz said rubbing Lili's back before they seperated. Lili had been spending a lot of time at home since she had been back in LA.
They all entered Jaz's little studio apartment, where they sat around and talked for awhile. Lili told them about everything that happened with Drew, even though Sienna had already heard the story. Sienna talked about the new project she was working on and Jaz gushed about how she had started styling some other upcoming celebrities thanks to Lili.
Then after a few hours they found themselves surrounded by unfamiliar faces, loud music, loud voices, flashing lights and of course free drinks that they were all taking advantage of.
"I'm gonna go get a refill," Lili leaned close to Sienna so she could hear her. Sienna nodded before Lili turned away to find the bar.
"Rum and coke please," Lili smiled to the bartender, before her eyes started to scan the room.
"Here ya go," the bartender set down the glass behind her.
"Thanks," Lili grabbed the glass and started to walk back to the girls, weaving through people until her eyes met the familiar outline of a profile she knew way too well. Her eyes darted to the floor as she took the long away around to avoid him.
What was he doing here?
"I have to leave," Lili looked Sienna dead in the eyes, her eyes wide.
