The two of them got into a car that took them to the secret party, Lili trying to hide her excitement the whole time while Drew watched every move the car made to try and figure out where they were going.
"We've never been here," Drew said as the car pulled up to a curb while he read the bright white lettering on the front of the building, 'Russo's Bar and Grill'.
"I know, I thought it would be fun to try something new," Lili smiled as she opened her door, both of them stepping out of the car, she quickly sent Olivia a text that they were here as she made her way around the car to the sidewalk.
Lili stood on the cement fixing her dress, running her fingers through her hair trying to calm her nerves.
"You good?" he asked looking over at her while she fidgeted.
"Yeah sorry," she smiled, "After you birthday boy," she gestured to the door.
Drew started towards the main door of the restaurant Lili tucking her clutch under her arm and her phone, camera open, in her hand following behind him.
She started recording as he opened the door, the once dim room lighting up, cheers from his friends filling their ears, a big smile on Lili's face as Drew stood there stunned.
"Surprise," she smiled when he turned to look at him, stopping the recording.
"You did all this?"
She nodded with a smile, bitting the inside of her cheek.
"Thank you," he smiled, wrapping his arm around her, kissing the top of her head.
"Go mingle, I'll find you later," she smiled up at him, "Also theres three special people coming later"
"Who?" he questioned.
"You'll see," she smiled rubbing his back before slipping away towards Sienna, Jaz and Olivia.
"Thank you all for helping with this," Lili smiled at the girls.
"Of course!" Olivia smiled.
"Did he like the suit?" Jaz asked.
"He's wearing it so I think so"
"Did the shoes work?"
"Fit like a glove!"
Everyone mingled for a while, music playing, chatter filling the room, Lili felt her phone buzz in her hand, she looked down at it.
