Once I'm home I quickly run upstairs before anyone can see me. I run to my room. My room is smallest in the house and the included all of the guest bedrooms. I have all of my sisters old stuff. At least the stuff she didn't throw away. The one good thing about my room is it had one window that faced the beautiful park behind our house. It's huge and has a few ponds that are surrounded by trees. The best part is I can also see downtown. When the sunsets the large buildings cast shadows across the ponds and it reflects just right. The last good thing is I have a bathroom. It's where my closet would have been but I'd rather have a bathroom considering I don't have many clothes other than my work uniforms.

"Aryanna. Please come downstairs." I could hear my mother but it was way too nice. That means she's either up to something or someone's here. Personally both are bad but the quicker I go downstairs the quicker it's over.

"Yes mother." I could feel her staring at me as I looked at the ground.

"Do you have anything appropriate to wear this weekend. If not we can find something from your sister. I'm sure it might be a bit tight because of, well, you know." I looked up and could see her evil smirk. So that's why she was being nice. Just to screw me over even more.

"Yes mother. Anna bought me some stuff a while ago but left it at her house." There's no way I'm telling her I went shopping today.

"Ok if you say so but DO NOT disappoint me. This man is very rich and would be an amazing suitor for your sister." I gave her a small nod before trying to leave but she harshly grabbed my wrist, "Don't you walk away from me young lady. We need to talk about your hair. What did you do to it."

Yes Anna convinced me to get my hair done. Nothing too big just a trim and bangs. The lady taught me how to do my own hair though so that way nice.

"Sue wanted to have a day off and convinced me to go with her and she insisted that I get my hair done and a small makeover." I looked at her and could tell she wasn't happy but since it's what my boss said she can't really say no.

She let go of my arm and I ran upstairs. I quickly sent Sue a text warning her if my mom was to call her. After hiding all of the bags I got from shopping I took another shower and wiped off all of the makeup from the makeover Anna made me get. I towel dried my hair and put it in a ponytail. I have a lot of hair. Its thick and long and slightly curly. Not quite straight but not extremely curly.

Once I was dried off I stood in front of my bathroom mirror. I'm nothing like my sister but I like it. I'm natural. I have an hourglass shape like Lexi but I have a bit more meat on my bones than her. I also eat things other than salads and I eat more than three times a week. My mom thinks that makes me fat but she also eats almost nothing. It doesn't help that she's had more plastic surgery than my sister and that's saying a lot.

I check the clock and immediately run downstairs to sit at the table for dinner. My sister is already there sitting next to my mom. I sit opposite of them and keep my head down. My mom sits up straight and my sister follows which can only mean one thing. The one person in this house who terrifies everyone but me came to dinner for once.

"Hello father." My sister and I say in sync which makes her glare at me.

"Hi honey. How's work going?" My mom gives the fakest smile she can. I know they don't get along considering it was an arranged marriage and I can hear them fighting in the middle of the night.

"Hello Lexi." He gives my sister a small smile before turning to me and his mouth drops a bit before he gives me a small smile as well which he never does, "And hello to you as well Aryanna. You changed your hair. It looks beautiful."

I can't even form words at this point. I just stare at him before slowly looking at my mom and sister. They're both glaring at me. If looks could kill I'd be dead five times over. I turn back to my father to see him still giving me a small smile and I blush a bit.
