Jihyo's POV:
"WHAT?!" Nayeon let out in a disbelief manner. "I'm definitely not staying here alone in the bus"
"Hate to say it but you have to, BunnyTooth." Sana said crossing her arms. "Unless you wanna go out there with us" she teasingly added a suggestion to which we knew Nayeon is gonna turn down.
"Ain't no way I'm getting out with those uglies roaming around." I knew it "but you can't also leave me here"
"Tzuyu, you staying?" I asked the young one who is staring outside the window with a calm expression. As if its just taking a walk in the park.
"No, especially not with her." She said in a monotonous manner and Nayeon just scoffed.
"What about you Sana?" I ask Sanake
"Nah, Momo is my best friend. I've known her for a long time than the rest of you. You'll definitely need me if you ever want to find her."
"Jihyo?" Nayeon turned to me
"I can't, I can't let these two wander off on their own" I looked at both Sana and Tzuyu and they rolled their eyes. "Trust me Nay, its the best option to leave you here in the bus just in case the others comes back before we do." I reassuringly patted her shoulder and she heave a sigh and eventually nodded.
"Just promise to be back as soon as possible"
"You have my word" I stated firmly before I handed her a spare handgun. "Just in case. You know how to use one?" She shook her head.
"Click the safety off, point the barrel to the zed and pull the trigger." I said and she nodded "Its easy right? Easy as 1, 2, 3. Just don't panic" I reassuringly said.
"It's easy if she doesn't shoot herself first by accident" Tzuyu savagely said before jumping off the bus and Sana sheepishly giggled at the back.
"That bish, I hope she impales herself with her stupid arrows." Nayeon cussed under her breath.
"Come on Nay, we're counting on you to defend this bus till we or the others get back. Can we count on you?" Nayeon looked me in the eyes and nodded "Yes, I'll do my best"
Honestly, that was a big relief hearing that from her. I view Nayeon as a spoiled bratty good-for-nothing baby-like minded person, but I guess she got no other choice but to be a mature one.
Sana then handed me my Naginata and a spare flashlight "We should go now Ji, I don't think my best friend is cooking in the dark forest" I don't know what she actually meant by cooking but one thing is for sure, can't lose another precious seconds.
"Don't worry Nayeon, guns are awesome things, they go 🖐🏻👈🏻 Pop, pop!" Sana said cheerfully before we head out the bus, once again greeted by the eerie and deafening silent sound of nature.
Tzuyu was examining the tip of her arrows. "Lets go?" I nodded and led the way to the dark forest before us, flashing the light within, hoping that whatever lurks behind the shadows would leave as alone and hopefully Momo, in peace. I could only hope.
Y/n's POV:
I unbuckled my belt, which I estimated was already 3 feet and my long arms already suffice. I threw the belt's metal buckle a couple of times and fortunately, it got hook firmly and pull the keys within my reach immediately.
With haste, I got out of the cage within less than 5 seconds. I cautiously exited the room since I have no weapon to protect myself with except my fists and instinct. I would definitely feel bad to punch a girl but if I am about to face a Zant, it would most likely be over for me.
