Y/n's POV:
We went off the road as the bus sway a bit from the rough road. Dahyun seems to know the way around as she effortlessly weaved the bus into the woods, not hitting a single branch coming from the trees.
A few moments later, she pulled the bus to a stopped, but still no house on sight.
"Alright, everyone out" Dahyun said as she turned the bus off and gets out, others carried their own weapons and followed outside while Miggy and I grabbed the baskets of food supplies and medicines and put it in a separate duffel bags for easy carriage.
Both of us then head out, closing the bus' door and was greeted by a sea of dried leaves and confused faces of the others.
"Uhm... Dahyun? Are you sure we're there yet? I don't see anything that resembles a house here instead of countlessly eerie trees around us" Sana asked scratching her head.
"Relax, we're not there yet" groans of frustration were heard from the others "the bus can't go any further since the road ends here so we have to walk on foot." Dahyun added as the groans intensifies.
"Let's go you lazy asses, move!" Dahyun said with authority like a general in a training camp for marines.
We started to walk on foot in the woods with Dahyun leading the group while me and Miggy are at the last. We still got plenty of time left before dusk and the sun is still shining so we won't have to worry about the zeds. Any zeds wandering around would be easily seen.
Me and Miggy carried the heavy bags in both hands, and Miggy is already sweating like crazy.
"You okay buddy?" I asked and he looks at me.
"Yah, how come you still look fresh and not breaking a sweat?" He asked and I chuckled, broken twigs snapped under my shoe as we continue walking.
"I don't know, working out maybe?" I said and Sana took a glance at me and she snapped her head back to the front as I caught her.
"I'm gonna work out from now on when we get to Dahyun's house" Miggy said while panting.
"Sure you will" I mockingly said when suddenly...
"ughh!!! Yah! My legs are already sore and I'm tired, let's take a break" Sana whined in the front as she slumped to the ground like a kid who doesn't get to buy an ice cream.
Seriously?
I took a glance back at me and I could still see the bus parked 50 meters away.
"Yah Sana! We are still not halfway there and you're already tired?" Chaeyoung said crossing her arms "seriously you guys, you all got poor stamina" she said as Sana just huffed.
"Fine! Then just leave me here then!" Sana ranted like a child as she pouted and crosses her arms, kicking the dead leaves.
'How childish' I thought as I smiled mentally
She sulks and acts like a child and to be honest, it suits her bubbly attitude and she looks cute doing it.
"You guys go on ahead, I'll take care of her" I said and they nodded
"Alright fine, let's go then" Dahyun said as she started to walk away while Miggy and the rest followed, leaving me, Teudoongie and Sana still slumped to ground.
I went in front of her and kneel, with my back facing her "come on, hop in" I said offering her a piggyback ride
Her pouting lips then turned into a curling smile as she happily hopped on my back. "Thanks Y/n" she sheepishly say as I chuckled.
