I stir my eyes open and I found myself in Chaeyoung's embrace.
It still dark outside, I look at the wall clock and it was still 3am in the morning.
I wonder what happen last night?
I look around and saw empty bottles of alcohol scattered around, the place reeks in alcohol scent.
It is unusual for me to wake up in this time of hour, unless something is not right. Its an instinct we Myoui's had.
I let go of Chaeyoung's embrace, she's still sleeping soundly though, her wound is now just a dot of red color.
I tiptoed around, careful not to wake someone up.
I pick up my ancient Samurai sword and wander around the dark halls outside.
As I walk deeper, I could sense someone watching me, someone stalking.
I unsheathe the sword and walk gracefully silent through the dark room.
Just as I entered, I felt a blade held on my throat as I stopped dead on my tracks.
"I know you'll be awake" A masculine voice said.
I turned my head towards the voice and his face was unrecognizable due to the dark surrounding.
I tilt my head to the familiar voice it had "Dad?" I called out
"Yes, its me sweetheart" he withdraw his sword and I engulf him with a tight hug.
"I miss you dad, b-but how? How did you find me?" I ask not breaking the hug.
"I had my instinct" he jokingly said "I'm glad your alive"
"Me too dad, but where's mom" I ask him
"She's outside waiting. We should go" he grab my hand but I stayed still.
"Mina, honey what's wrong? Your mom is outside, let's go" he said through the dark and I shake my head no.
"I... I can't..." I said
"Mina, if this is about Chaeyoung, forget it, your not safe with her, your mom and I are going to a safe place, your safe with us, we can protect you" he said and it makes my blood boil
"You think I can't protect myself?" I ask in disbelief
"That's not what I meant" he sternly said but I cut him off before he can say something further
"I can't dad, I'm sorry, but I can't leave my friends." I said with plead.
"Mina, you don't get~" my dad was cut off again
"Mina?" I look towards the other voice and my mom emerged from the shadows
"Mom?" I ran to her and engulf her with a tight hug
I hugged her tightly as she did the same, smelling my mother's scent soothes me and I missed it so much.
"Mom, I missed you" I said warmly
"Me too sweetheart" she said kissing my head
"Mom, Dad, I'm sorry to tell you but, I can't leave my friends, especially Chaeyoung. I'm a grown up now, I can take care of myself" I pleaded to them.
There was a momentary silence, until my dad lets out a sigh. "I guess your right, you are a big girl now, and I'm proud of what you've become" he said as my mother nodded "I just can't believe my little girl is a fine woman now, time flies" he said and I know he's smiling.
I rushed to him and gave him another tight hug. "Thanks dad" I said as mother joined the hug.
"Here, take this" he said as he handed me another sword. "Use it to protect your friends" he said and my eyes widen.

"Yes, its the ancient Samurai sword the family had for generations. Use it Myoui Mina" my father said wearing a proud smile "you earned it"
I've been dreaming of using it once, now my dad entrusted me with it, as my possession.
I hugged the both of them again tightly.
"Thanks dad, thanks mom, I love you guys so much" I said to them
"We love you too little swan" my father said as I giggle. "You know where to find us" he said as I nodded.
"Now go back to sleep, you smell alcohol" my dad said chuckling and I was a bit abashed, my face burning red
"Looks like someone had fun last night" my mom teasingly said
"Mom!" I whined as she giggled at me
"We love you, remember that" they pull me to a warm hug
"Love you too guys, thank you so much" I said back to them and I ran back happily to the others.
3rd Person POV:
The two watched their penguin daughter disappeared to a corner.
"I can't believe she's all grown up now" Mina's dad said, letting out a tear he's been holding
His wife spoke up, hugging him from the side "Yes she is, time flies so fast" she looks at her husband's bare face "don't worry about her, she will be alright, I trust her, so should you"
He nodded at his wife "yeah, I trust her" she looked back at her "you've put the tracking device, right?"
"Its in the sword, don't worry, she won't find it there, and if something bad happens to her, we'll know" she answered
"Well, we better go, those things outside are ruthless, let's clear a path, for the lady." they both left out through the secret passage.
