DOTD #44

Y/n's POV:

"Wake up pretty boy" I woke up when someone lightly tap my cheeks repeatedly.

"W-wha-?" I groaned out.

"We're here, move your ass out" Yadom yanked me out of the truck.

I found myself standing outside in this kind of base. Large and high walls that stood approximately 50 feet tall with scout towers in each corner. Each tower is manned by 2-3 persons with high powered snipers and such. Barbwire fences were laid out as far as the eye can see. Search lights were also attached to each tower.

This base looks exactly like a fortress. A great stronghold for survivors.

If it was meant for survivors that is...

"Move" Rosé pushed me with her the back of her rifle and I started walking towards the two large gate.

It is completely covered in spikes and Barbwires, and judging by the bloods in it, it was clear that a couple of zeds tried to break in, but that was unfortunate for them though.

Few bodies of decaying corpses were lying around outside with flies flying back and forth to one body to another. Foul stench hit my nostrils.

I almost wretch at the sight.

As we came closer, the gates started to open and we were greeted by people. Girls to be exact. Girls in uniforms and high powered rifles.

Inside was countless other people walking around, carrying goods and doing all sorts of stuffs.

What I definitely noticed is that, all of them here are girls.

All of them.

As I went deeper inside the base, most of them would take a glance at me and looked at me with those uncertain eyes.

Good thing is that I was allowed to carry my only weapon, the blue katana that Mina gave me.

"Lightfury! Show our new guest his room" Rosé called out and another cat eyed girl approach us.

"Yes miss Rosé" she bowed and answered.

"Be sure that his needs are met, he's a VIP" Rosé added while she winked at me and went to the opposite direction with the other 3 girls.

The girl or so called "Lightfury" gestures for me to follow. We both left and I caught sight of a truck passing by with cages on its back.

I couldn't make out what was inside those cages but something was completely moving inside it.

We continued walking until me and the said girl went inside this white building. It was neat and clean, not a slight sign of Apocalypse was seen.

"So.... you're Lightfury?" I began, not liking the awkward silence.

"Yeah" she chuckled "pretty funny huh? I wonder why they have those "nickname only" policy in the first place, its pretty stupid" she sigh, still walking

"Nickname only?" I asked, slightly confused

"Its the rule here in this base, we are forbidden to use our name here since its the new world or new era, but I still prefer to be called by my name. It still makes me feel humane."

"So... what's your name then?" I asked and she abruptly stopped on her tracks.

She turned to me and shot me an eyebrow "Like I said, names are forbidden here"

"Don't worry, no one has to know, its just between you and me" I said hoping to convince her.

With a sigh, she finally said "You can call me Yeji"

"Y/n L/n" I answered

"So... VIP huh? Lucky you" she strike a conversation while we walked again.

"I wouldn't call myself that"

"Well you should, since you are rare" she said while my mind was processing on the word "rare"

"Rare? What does that mean?"

"Tsk. Didn't you noticed? You're the only boy here" she casually said

"Yeah, I can see that, but why rare? Why VIP?"

She clicked her tongue "Ever since you lay your first step inside the base, all of the girls here wants a piece of you"

I gulped, random thoughts ran through my mind like a flood.

Wants a piece of me? Are they cannibals??

"W-what? Like, flesh?" I nervously questioned as she let out a laugh

"You are so naïve." She teased, then she continued "All of us here are from an All-Girls highschool. We've been students in that school for almost five years now. It is so strict there that visitors are not allowed, only families, but no friends from the outside or any outsiders are allowed inside or from our dorms." She looked at me with those eyes that meant harm

She pushed and pinned me to the wall "Which means, we never have seen or interact with other male people. You are the first in our five years Y/n."

Five years, that must have been hard.

She continued and whispers to my ear "So if I were you, you should be careful, you never know who or which bitch will pounced on you"

"Like you?" I deadpanned

She scoff "Yeah, like me. So you better watch out" she released me and she started walking, leaving me behind.

I jogged to catch up to her.

"Your room will be inside this building" she said and we came into one of the doors. She slid a key and reveals my spacious and luxurious room inside.

I was in awe by the sight before me

Shit... this is VIP

"Be sure to take a shower, looks like one of the headmistress took interest in you" she said with a wink before closing the door.

Headmistress?

Things are starting to get complicated

Sorry if I hadn't updated this for almost a month, and also Sorry if I had to cut it right there fam, but don't worry, I'll update twice this week.

Someone just messaged me these cool mutated zed ideas. I can't wait to add these masterpieces to this book. I'll credit that person on that chapter soon, and also check out his/her stories.
