Calvin was casually sitting in his room, writing some notes. Just then, a soldier walked into his room. "Hello, Calvin. How are you doing today?" Calvin just glared at the soldier. He didn't like the soldiers.
"Come on, at least tell me how you're doing." Calvin groaned. "I'm ok.." he muttered. The soldier smiled. "That's good to hear!" the soldier said. "Your friends are waiting for you."
Calvin signed. He got up and walked out the door and past the soldier.
Calvin walked to where his friends were, except he only saw one of them. It was Yelos. Confused, Calvin asked Yelos where their other friend was. "Oh. The soldiers said he was sick." Calvin gasped. "W-what? But... What if the soldiers did that to him?? What if they're running some sort of... Experiment on him??"
Yelos grabbed Calvin's shoulders. "Calm down! These soldiers aren't as bad as you think they are!" Calvin looked down. "W-well, you could never know.." Yelos sighed. "Calvin, these guys are literally a part of the military. They're trying to help us!"
Calvin shook Yelos' hands off if his shoulders. He then sat down, and soon he was deep in thought. Yelos groaned. "Calvin, are you thinking about things you really shouldn't be thinking about?" Calvin shook his head. "W-well, no.."
Yelos sat down next to Calvin and nuzzled him. "You don't need to worry about anything. We're safe here. I promise." Calvin signed. "Yeah, I know. It's just.. I don't trust these guys.. Like, I have this bad feeling that they're just gonna... Infect us over and over again. And it scares me. I don't feel safe here, Yelos. I don't-"
Before Calvin could finish his sentence, Yelos kisses him. Calvin's face became red. "Listen.. I know you're scared, but we'll be fine.. Everything will be ok..." Calvin looked down. "W-well, I still don't believe that, but if you say so..."
Yelos smiled at Calvin. Yelos always knew how to make Calvin feel better, no matter what. Calvin loved Yelos, and he'll never stop loving him. He'll love Yelos even after their death. He'll love Yelos even if what he said wasn't true, because he doesn't want to lose him.
No matter what, Calvin will always stay by Yelos' side.
No matter what.
